Ilitch definitely made some awful acquisitions. I think the Tigers might still be paying for Prince Fielder. Zimmerman has at least a couple years left on his contract for $20+M annually. Verlander might still be traded before August 31. On the other hand they got Fulmer pretty cheap. Upton is performing well. Mahtook is looking good.

#24 oh please. He’s a wimp with protection...Catching gear. If it hadn’t been for #24 and others holding and taking sucker shoots at Cabrera while he’s engaged with the catcher, romaine would been carried off on a stretcher.

I might add this was all started by a pitch thrown at Cabrera. If the catcher called for it he deserves to have his ass kicked.

#28 then you need glasses. Romaine was in deep dodo when Cabrera was on him until his buddy’s pulled Cabrera off and to the side with #24 taking sucker punch Rib shots at him. Watch the video. Sheesh!

Partner, Mark McGuire followed the same tactics used by Barry Bonds. Mark McGuire and Barry Bonds were two (2) of my favorite baseball players and then the Steroid stories started to come out.

That was when I really started following the guys who looked normal but the next year they looked like they had been really pumping weights for the past year. This is when I thought something must be wrong in the state of Denmark.

I am still wondering if the "Baseball Hall of Fame" is going to put an asterisk on Barry Bonds, Mark McGuire, Sammy Sosa etc.
