Jesse Jackson: Jesus Would Not Let Trump Into Heaven
Western Journalism ^ | Sept 1, 2017 | Jack Davis

The Rev. Jesse Jackson told fellow clergy this week that President Donald Trump “would not qualify to get into Jesus’ kingdom.”

Jackson spoke Monday at the National Action Network’s “Ministers March for Justice.” During his speech, he equated the Electoral College with vestiges of racism and demanded an end to the system.

In his speech to the ministers, Jackson, who also attacked Trump’s comments following last month’s violence in Charlottesville, Virginia, castigated Trump’s immigration policy.

“Trump says you must be able to speak the language English, qualified and have a job skill. Jesus would not qualify to come in Trump’s country. He would not qualify to get into Jesus’ kingdom,” Jackson said.

Jackson then referenced the New Testament book of Matthew.

“I was hungry you fed me, naked you clothed me, captive and you set me free,” Jackson said.

Many on Twitter were inflamed by Jackson’s remarks.

Jackson also spoke about the fight against Confederate statues and racism.

“We stand against the relics of a war long since the Klan ended. The Confederate flag represents some evil, represents secession and slavery and sedition and segregation. The Confederate flag must come down. The statues must come down. Electoral College must come down. We want a one person, one vote democracy,” he said.

The "National Action Network" is owned by the reverend Al Sharpton. (Yes, I know the r in Reverend should be capped, but not for Al.)

The March For Justice was held on August 28th. More info from Al's website here. I did a Google News search for the march and found nothing.

What does the reverend Jackson know about heaven anyhow? He probably was taught by the reverend Sharpston. Neither of them will probably ever see it.

Ah yes, Jesse “Hymie Town” Jackson definitely knows about racism and antisemitism that he’s endorsed.

Pardon me, Mr. Jackson, could you please speculate on Bill’s and Hillary’s chances regarding that?

Donald J. Trump is one person that the infamous Jesse Jackson shakedown cannot touch.

It’s ok jesse God will forgive you for taking federal money to set up your mistress and your baby and for embellishing franchises for your family’s enrichment under the guise of being a civil rights activist. The first step is to repent and ask God to forgive you.

Jackson: "Trump says you must be able to speak the language English, qualified and have a job skill. Jesus would not qualify to come in Trump’s country..."

Poppycock! Does Jackson really believe Jesus does not have command of the English language? Does Jackson really believe Jesus is not qualified and have a job skill? He's the world's Lord and Savior. I'd say that qualifies. In addition, the Bible says Jesus worked as a carpenter.

Pardon me, but I think Jackson comes real close to blasphemy here.

Jesse has not looked in the mirror, morally, in a very long time.

As the saying goes, judge not that you be not judged, as well as the corollary, because of that reminder, that the standard by which you judge others will be applied to you as well.

Jesse should start repenting and ask for forgiveness for the unwarranted so called “Christian” judgements he has made of others.

The march has been a spectacular failure. Somehow, though, Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton keep race pimping along, gotta have lots of walkin’ around money.

Lookie here! A Christian zealot trying to impose his morality. Normally the left smugly declares G-D is dead, and Jesus is an imaginary friend who’s father is an invisible, non existent sky daddy. So whenever the likes of Jackson and others from the “Christian left” speak out, then, BADA BING! Jesus is a cool dude.

“I was hungry you fed me, naked you clothed me, captive and you set me free,” Jackson said.

Jackson is misquoting the scriptures. The Correct reading of the Passage from Matthew is:

35 For I was hungry, and you fed me. I was thirsty, and you gave me a drink. I was a stranger, and you invited me into your home. 36 I was naked, and you gave me clothing. I was sick, and you cared for me. I was in prison, and you visited me.’...Matthew 25

There is nothing in the passage about "setting captives free". If "The Rev" is intentionally misquoting this scripture, how many more does he twist to his own agenda? From what I understand about Jesus, He takes a rather dim view of that kind of manipulation of HIS HOLY WORD.

I caught it immediately, and I'm not even ordained!
