Hurricanes and such.

So it seems only appropriate to mention Hurricane Harvey, a weather event that became, yes literally, the "Perfect Storm".
The storm roared in as a Cat 4. It quickly downgraded but the storm went on a circular track that has it stalling over Houston, Texas, possibly to move on to Louisiana.
It's been quite the story and it will likely go on for many, many days.
And yet Texas seems to be doing just fine, getting their pets out even.
All hail to Texas!

He says the people of Texas deserved Hurricane Harvey because they voted for Trump, he states the citizens of his own state, Florida, would deserve the same.

He did get fired, thank God. There should be no dealing with these kooks and I'm looking at the Tampa University as to what dolt hired this guy. No one this dumb is not walking around leaking stupidity all over the place.

○ You NEED to take this professor. I got a 99 in the class and I skipped probably more than I went. He puts all his lectures online & before each exam he tells you EXACTLY what will be on it. There are also online quizzes , 3 group projects, & a few papers but he is a VERY easy grader. Besides that he is also a super cool guy. 10/10

Let us begin a new month by me describing my confusion about what's going on with President Trump's consulting team.
Gary Cohn is head of the White House Economic council. I didn't even know there was such a thing.
Seems he didn't like how Trump handled that phony-baloney Charlottesville tussle including KKK, white supremecists, Nazis and Antifa.
So Cohn got mad because Trump said ALL parties were responsible for causing violence?
That IS what happened and I'd like to think that the head of my White House's Economic Council would have figured that out by now.
Like Rush said today, they all knew this was a drama for the masses but Cohn, and now Tillerson, threw Trump under the bus, did they?
Secretary of State Rex Tillerson, who I once loved and was so grateful Hillary's gone, is allegedly also not pleased by how Trump, silly man, identified the silly sham in Charlottesvill Virginia as being for, as Shakespeare said…"all the world is a stage".
The plan was to mention KKK, Nazis, white supremacists so much that the public will associate these people as being Donald Trump's base.
And Trump goes and ruins it all by refusing to participate in their scam.
Because two cops died in a helicopter crash and notice how we've yet to see footage of this crash.
Someone else died the human clash caused by a police department intentionally mixing of two disparate and warring groups…
….yeh, we get it and someday it will all come out in the open.
But Cohn and Tillerson? Not so much.

We are reminded of all that money President Obama sent to Iran. Texas could use that money now, no?
George Webb talks about his appearances at the Nat.Press club with Jason Goodman and later with Sharyl Atkisson as he asked her why there is so little interest in the Imran Awan case. She confesses she needs to do more on it and may well do.
The hearing for Imran went poorly for Webb's side as the prosecution was working with the defense and there was no venue change issued by the biased judge. She also ordered no more new charges or issues can be brought up in the case, really sick.
The fix is definitely in with the Imran Awan case. Biased prosecution with DWS’s brother Wasserman involved in the prosecution and not required to recuse himself just one of many problems.
All this can only exist because Imran Awan is a CIA asset.
He has to be since we already know he is ISI and has been for years.For this to happen and he operates so openly in Congress and elsewhere the CIA has to know what we know. Keeping that in mind it now becomes their job to deal with Imran and they are. We just don't know how. We can guess why.
They need the Pakis for a variety of reasons. They have nukes, they process the poppys from Afghanistan guarded by US soldiers,1,200 acres worth. The poppy fields yielding 43% more this year than last,1.2-1.6 trillion bucks,enough to fund an entire deep state for a long time.
Also the pakis may help in keeping the lid on the Taliband which has been trying to destroy the poppy fields while U.S. troops are guarding them,go figure that one out.

Nobody wants that, with me at the top of the list. (having seen way too many military funerals in the past decade) however, I love the "air-drop ordnance" developments, with laser guided accuracy and ground penetration technology. Wallace asks Mnuchin to opine on whether the bomb was hydrogen bomb, an whether the intelligence community believes the miniaturization claimed by NK. Mnuchin says that is classified, but our intelligence community is doing a fine job.
What is the one thing NK understands? referring to Trump's tweet. Mnuchin says talk is not enough. Wallace wants to know if this puts a closer to a military response. Mnuchin says we will not broadcast our plans, but we will work economically.
I wonder what Wallace was planning to ask Mnuchin in the first place. Mnuchin was booked before NK detonated the bomb. Ahh, he discloses, "the president's agenda" I assume a reference to tax cut legislation.
Dana Bash in for Tapper at CNN. Flake asked about Trump's fitness for office, referring to Clapper's remarks that Trump might over-react to NK action. Do you share Clapper's concern and president's ability to respond? Flake says he has confidence in Nat'l security team, and the people around the president will give him good advice, and he figures Trump will follow the advice. Bash pushes, are you concerned about Trump, as James Clapper is? Flake won't answer, repeats same remarks he gave.
CNN has the letter that Obama gave to Trump when Trump took office. Whoopee!

I saw one prediction that showed it coming in around Delaware and going inland. But it's all up in the air and really hard to tell at this point. Maybe by mid-week we will have much better idea.
If the center stays as small as it is many areas will be spared the wrath of 100 mile per hour plus devestation. Wherever it does hit however will know what 100 mph winds can do.
Back to CNN. Bash asks Flake about withdrawing from trade agreement with SK. Flake says he disagrees with this, ans withdrawing from trade agreements is a bad sign.
Bash asks about DACA, replays Trump campaign promise to reverse DACA. Wonders why should Trump go back on his promise? Flake says because it would be the right thing to do. Flake plays the kids sympathy card, kids should not be punished for the sins of their parents (deportation is not punishment). Would you trade DACA for border wall? Flake fudges, says he is in favor of border security (BS), but not a wall.
Bash asks about Trump being opposed to Flake's re-election. Flake is grinning, thinks Trump's attacks are funny. Flake is not concerned, finds himself to be independent and principled. Says he supports Trump on most things, just not on trade and immigration. LOL.
Bash asks about Russia (using search of embassies as launch) - wasn't Russian interference with US election a hostile act? Flake says it is settled that Russia attempted to interfere in our election.
Bash asks if debt limit and Harvey relief should be attached. Flake says both items will pass anyway.
Done with the Sunday morning comedy shows, back to TCM for me.
