Back to CNN. Bash asks Flake about withdrawing from trade agreement with SK. Flake says he disagrees with this, ans withdrawing from trade agreements is a bad sign.
Bash asks about DACA, replays Trump campaign promise to reverse DACA. Wonders why should Trump go back on his promise? Flake says because it would be the right thing to do. Flake plays the kids sympathy card, kids should not be punished for the sins of their parents (deportation is not punishment). Would you trade DACA for border wall? Flake fudges, says he is in favor of border security (BS), but not a wall.
Bash asks about Trump being opposed to Flake's re-election. Flake is grinning, thinks Trump's attacks are funny. Flake is not concerned, finds himself to be independent and principled. Says he supports Trump on most things, just not on trade and immigration. LOL.
Bash asks about Russia (using search of embassies as launch) - wasn't Russian interference with US election a hostile act? Flake says it is settled that Russia attempted to interfere in our election.
Bash asks if debt limit and Harvey relief should be attached. Flake says both items will pass anyway.
Done with the Sunday morning comedy shows, back to TCM for me.
