Why President Trump’s Timing of Ending DACA Is Perfect Political Gamesmanship

Sunday evening, Politico reported that POTUS Trump is to end DACA following a six month delay.

This move could not be more genius.

The political gamesmanship the President put on display relative to DACA is an example of a “masterstroke”. First off, it must be noted that DACA will be ending after a six month delay. Why the six month delay? Good question, this might be why: Republicans running for primaries during 2018 will HAVE to discuss DACA as it will be a major talking point in both the media and in debates.

Republicans trying to win their primaries KNOW that the #MAGA base is strong and dedicated to “making America great again,” so these conservatives will have to prove their loyalty to the vision President Trump presented in 2016.

Would you move to Mexico today without someone pointing a gun in your direction?

A lot of these DACA "children" have never been to their home countries. They ain't returning to Mexico or any other Latin American Hell Hole without being deported.

He will use it as a bargaining chip for his tax cuts and the wall funding. Just attach DACA and the dems will vote for it. He wins either way. He is a businessman first and realizes 400K Dreamers are a pittance to a major tax cut and wall construction.

I see the DACA issue as President Trump's "checkmate" move on immigration. Congress, you want to allow grandfathered DACA "kids" to get work permits? Here is the cost:

1. $15 billion wall funding
2. Taxing remittances to Mexico and reducing the trade deficits with Mexico to be applied for wall reimbursement
3. End to anchor baby citizenship for those in the country illegally or not legal residents.
4. Immediate deportation for any felony offense for DACA "kids"
5. No citizenship ever for DACA "kids"
6. Pay fine and back taxes for years spent in USA illegally
7. Numbers 5 & 6 can be waived for those willingly going back to their country of birth and applying to re-enter legally.

The Dream Act was passed by the Senate 68–32 in 2013, but it did not pass in the House.

It is not a law. it is a Decree.

If Congress wants some form of DACA, then all they need to do is pass a law. Right now it is an unconstitutional decree. If Ryan and the loser RINOs want it to continue, they have the power to make it happen.

Trump will probably just use DACA as a bargaining chip to get Tax Reform, The Wall and Obamacare repeal.

Give him those and the kids can stay.

The Art of the Deal.

Duuuhhh on the opposition party! Even if we did, it doesn't have a "leader" in Congress.

As I recall, Glenn Beck wasn’t alone in handing out teddy bears as bait to bring more illegals in.

Seems Cruz liked the plan so much he also handed out bait bears.

DACA is over. Its a done deal. If the House and Senate pass an amnesty bill for the DACA Dreamers it is sure to be vetoed by Trump. You can bet there won’t be enough votes in either the House or the Senate to override such a veto. This also smokes out the Congresscritters or Senator scumbags who fall in with the amnesty pushing crowd so they can be primaried out. Trump wins again! Still winning!

maybe those 400-800k “dreamers” could be put to building the wall? They want to stay here in this great country so much? They should prove it by helping secure this country not marching that they have a right to stay while sucking up tax payer monies, but hands on helping secure the USofA and speak up about those they know (family or not) who commit felonies and other illegal activities.
Choose Daca kids, the USofA or your family and old family habits of selfishness?
