Some of my reports from Washington might be different from what you generally hear in the national media, so here it goes!
President Donald Trump has been doing very well. I didn’t vote for him, but I have to give him a lot of credit for his accomplishments over the last few weeks. Here are just a few:
1. Public administration experts are acknowledging that Trump has done a superb job of managing the hurricanes and other natural disasters we are experiencing. He sent his entire Cabinet out into the field. The president himself visited flood areas but kept out of the way. It is always dangerous for a president to go to a disaster area where he might get in the way of rescue work.
President Trump has done a lot of managing over the course of his career. Just getting all of the agreements from labor unions and local, state and federal governments to build some of his buildings would be a management nightmare for most people. But his worst critics are conceding that his management skills have come into play during these hurricanes. He has done a very good job of directing what flood relief programs we have under FEMA and elsewhere without micromanaging.
On Wednesday, Sept. 13, The New York Times ran a front-page story on how much better the current flood relief is than during previous natural disasters. However, the whole article did not once mention Trump’s leadership. That is unfortunate because I think it shows a bias against Trump....

Any amnesty will make him a one term wonder.
re the shadow government and the deep state’s current goal to get rid of Trump, he will be reelected only if he is still around to run. I pray for his safety.
Scott Adams says the DREAMers were never going to be deported by anybody so that Trump got a good deal on the border in exchange for not doing what no one was going to do. Comments?
He’ll have to get started on the WALL to be re-elected.
The people who voted for him are not going to vote for the likes of Mrs. Bill Clinton, but they won’t vote from Trump either unless he gets started on the wall.
And Trump needs to keep his promise of no amnesty.
If he falls for the “I’ll give you border security on Tuesday for amnesty today”, he’s toast.
I consider Scott Adams far more politically astute than the overwhelming majority of political pundants. And he’s probably right. Trump played the left talking about kicking out dreamers and freaking them out. By backing off they exhaled and Trump got leverage on the border. Nice chess move.
Adams needs to stick to cartoons where he has some idea about what phe is talking about. If trump signs daca, hes done.
I doubt Trumps response do the recent storms will tilt the election, but if Trump dramatically reduces illegal immigration, cuts taxes, kills Obamacare, and improves economic growth he will win in a landslide.
Note, the democrat bench is absolutely pathetic and totally unelectable.
If Trump thinks that he's going to bullchit his base and fold on his immigration promises, he's going to be responsible for the "second biggest political surprise of the millennium" too.
It is 3 years and about three months until the next election. A lot can happen between now and then. These articles predicting who will win the election then are all ridiculous mental masturbation.
Putting the issue of immigration aside for the moment, Trump was hugely helped by two things last year:
1. Jill Stein took liberal votes away from Hillary.
2. Hillary herself was lazy and over-confident. She didn’t bother to campaign in some key swing states.
As it was, the 2016 election was a near thing. I don’t think the Democrats will allow things like 1 and 2 above to happen again in 2020. So I sure don’t see a Trump slam-dunk in 2020.

Off course he will. MAGA. First Pres in a long time that I give a huge benefit of the doubt to, and so far he hasn’t let me down.
Realistically there’s no way those 800,000 people were going to be deported. So I think Adams is right. It all hinges on whether the Wall gets built. I think it will and Trump will be a two term President.
If all of the libs keep their promises to behead him, poison him, and shoot him; he won’t have to worry about 2020.
You are right. He will NOT win if he keeps on playing footsies with the Democrats.
Unlike Democratic voters, Republican voters will not support you if you don’t keep your promises.
