Blah blah blah, lookit who’s still butthurt over the primaries.

It’s been over a year. Your controlled opposition candidate lost, and so did Hillary. Get over it.

Again just bad policy but not against the law. And again, far worse policy is to let the former Sec of State, traffic in national security information literally flaunted in front of the American people and yet the justice dept of swamp creatures does nothing.

The Swamp loves to tell us all about how the president can't do anything to drain the swamp.

Lock her up

Let's go at this another way. Lets just say President Trump calls Jeff Sessions and orders him to investigate espionage activity of sec of state Clinton.

If that is more than bad policy the only remedy would be to impeach the president. What would be the charge? Exactly what law would the president have violated that would warrant impeachment and ultimate conviction and removal from office?

I would love for these swamp creatures to answer that question.

I don’t know why you’re not a political consultant raking in astronomical sums. You have all the answers.

Trump should have the option to fire Sessions. But both the Democrats and the Uniparty rose up in hysterical fits when he even criticized their fellow swamper, Jeff. Trump cannot afford, at this time, to have the entire rest of his first term engulfed in the promised “h__y hell.” He needs to create an environment in which he can both fire Sessions and survive politically. He will likely succeed, just not on your timetable.

I looked at the link. You are ignoring my point: a Special Prosecutor is not needed.

Here's an article from October 2016 recommending HRC's prosecution -- not via Special Prosecutor -- for her email crimes. A few excerpts that echo my original post:

For mishandling ‘top secret’ information and lying about it, she should be prosecuted.

Fully 36 of Clinton’s e-mails fell into the “secret”-information category. That designation applies when information “could be expected to cause serious damage to national security” if transmitted or stored in an unauthorized manner. “Serious” is not as weighty as “exceptionally grave,” but it is, well, serious. That’s why people usually get prosecuted for compromising it.

its mishandling is a significant offense, even if the damage is not likely to be “exceptionally grave” or “serious.” That’s why its compromise often results in prosecution, or at least severe sanctions such as termination of employment or loss of security clearance. In light of General Cartwright’s prosecution for lying about his mishandling of classified information, it is worth revisiting Mrs. Clinton’s representation to the FBI that she did not know what “(C)” meant.

NB: "Andrew C. McCarthy III is a former assistant U.S. attorney for the Southern District of New York. He led the 1995 terrorism prosecution against Sheikh Omar Abdel Rahman and eleven others. ... He also contributed to the prosecutions of terrorists who bombed U.S. embassies in Kenya and Tanzania. He resigned from the Justice Department in 2003."

More here

http://www.nationalreview.com/article/441453/hillary-clintons-emails-lawyers-without-security-clearance-got-classified-information

and here: "Finally, I was especially unpersuaded by Director Comey’s claim that no reasonable prosecutor would bring a case based on the evidence uncovered by the FBI. To my mind, a reasonable prosecutor would ask: Why did Congress criminalize the mishandling of classified information through gross negligence? The answer, obviously, is to prevent harm to national security. So then the reasonable prosecutor asks: Was the statute clearly violated, and if yes, is it likely that Mrs. Clinton’s conduct caused harm to national security? If those two questions are answered in the affirmative, I believe many, if not most, reasonable prosecutors would feel obliged to bring the case."

Your pipe dream that Swamp creature Sessions will betray his fellow Swampers is sad. Trump has publicly made clear several times that Hillary and Comey, at a minimum, need to be investigated. Sessions just goes into a giggle fit with his bff, Rosenstein. He knows the Swamp has his back.

Completely false, btw, that I ignored the special counsel issue. I covered it in post 139.

How about we pay attention to the man’s rulings first?

Because maybe I missed something, but I have yet to see any backstabbing behavior.

No I agree with you there. I just think the swamp likes to falsely tell us the president can’t instruct the justice department or the FBI and he most certainly can’t fire anyone. That’s just horse hockey. If we believed the swamp we would conclude muller is accountable to no one, can’t be fired by anyone and is in essence his own sovereign country capable of investigating and prosecuting anyone.

I agree, which justifies the President ordering the AG to do his job and investigate.

Actually, DACA dreamers did arrive illegally - but as minors, many of which were brought across the border by their illegal parents.

CA stands for “Childhood Arrivals” - meaning illegal, but underage.

Your post is in error, FRiend.

One can play as many word-games with the acronym as liked. It doesn't change the fact that DACA was law until Trump rescinded it.

If the DREAMers are illegal, then that means that Obama's EA did not in fact carry the force of law. If his EA did not carry the force of law, then riddle me this: why did Trump have to rescind Obama's EA? Answer: Trump had to rescind Obama's EA because it was executed with the authority of the Office of the President. One may not like the fact that Obama did it (of course, then if it was an illegal action, why didn't Congress or the Supremes overturn it? Answer: they didn't), but if one wishes to "deem" DACA illegal and not an action with the force of law, then one must also demean the Office of the Presidency - regardless of who happens to be holding it. I don't like it, you don't like it, yet there it is.

Sorry.

Okay, cool.

In that case, I’ll just leave it there as a general comment to no one in particular.

The POTUS should select a good AG and let him/her do their job. If the AG won’t do their job he/she should be fired.

These are exceptional circumstances. Trump has no allies in congress, and Sessions has nothing BUT allies. Trump has to proceed with care. I think he’ll get rid of Sessions but it will take time and finesse.

Trump cannot “order” Sessions to do his bidding. He will have to create circumstances in which it is feasible to fire him.

One of the reasons Trump is POTUS and you aren’t is because Trump understands the limitations of the office. All the armchair political quarterbacks have it figured out,l but Trump has to face something they dont: reality.
