I don’t think this is a good argument to make Rush.
A gun banner might say, “well okay, since many or most recent mass shootings are committed with semi-auto firearms, lets also make them very hard to get and expensive, ala, make them fall under NFA, like machine guns.
The counter to that is that assault rifles (weapons) were used in only 2% of gun crimes in 2016, and that includes thefts (burglaries) of such weapons. They tend not to be used in murders.
