Just wow!. Watch for ticket prices to increase even more. Now all the players will threaten to sit so they can get in on the bribe money.

Someone posted an interesting link here last week to a blog report from an anonymous employee for one of the NFL teams. This guy claimed that the legal departments for teams across the NFL had been looking for ways to compel the players to stand, but all the owners have been warned that they have very little leverage here.
Bribing them is probably not a bad approach at this point. You can be 100% certain that this will be addressed in the next collective bargaining agreement between the owners and the players union.

Our conversations and comments should no longer evolve around “not watching anymore NFL games”. We need to make statements and comments about “What will it take to get me to return to watching and attending NFL games.”

Is Martha Ford from THE Ford Family?
Henry Ford’s descendants? To someone from that family, a few lousy million is nothing. It like seeing coins roll down the back of your car seat. You may not even bother to pick it up.

“The Detroit Lions’ owner offered players incentive not to kneel for the anthem”
Very weak team owner. Very, very weak.
Billionaire, yes. But weak as dish water. No core values that can be identified other than love of money.

I didn’t watch my Patriots last weekend. That is usually done weekly with friends, who all seemed ok to watch without me. We come from a different place, and different backgrounds. I wonder though, is it doing any good. Is the message really getting across? I’m not going to slip. I like the time I spend with my football buddies, but I love my country more. I’ll hold fast, but I’d certainly like to know we’re doing some good..These thugs need to know that what they’re doing is unacceptable.
