What Happened in Vegas(debunking conspiracy theories?)
americanthinker.com ^ | 10/8/2017 | Henry Percy

I imagine that this will light up the comments section, but someone needs to write it: the conspiracy theories cropping up over the Las Vegas shooting are as noisome as mushrooms on a dunghill after a spring rain. In discussing some of the more outlandish and offensive ones, I will not document them lest I drive more traffic to the authors' websites.

Law enforcement is withholding information from us.

Of course it is. It always does. That's called good practice before police have interviewed all who might have information – scarcely a revelation.

Do I wish they would release all the data after the investigation is complete? Yes. But that has never been standard practice in this country, nor in any other. Conspiracy theorists would do well to remember Occam's Razor.

You mean like the presumption that anyone who raises questions about the crazed Russians HYPOTHETICALLY “hacking” the election is automatically tagged as a conspiracy theorist? (correctly i might add)

There is zero evidence the Russians hacked anything.

And thus far, there is zero evidence other than a lone nut shot and killed people from a Vegas hotel room. And there is zero evidence he was a closet Muslim.

They will delay, dodge and drag out while the media and politicians do their cover up.

Exactly! This information blackout is giving them time to get their story straight. Don't want another Benghazi or San Bernadino where their first fake news blew up.

Follow the money.

CEO James Murren of MGM Resorts International selling pattern of stock in early to mid September as well other insiders. Murren makes around $18 mil. They may just have been following Murrens lead but sells to buy ratios were 9-12 to 1. He knew something was coming. Reminds one of the heavy pattern of puts on UAL and AA prior to 9/11.

All that by itself can be construed as normal financial dealings by board members but when Soros Fund MGMT buys
42,242,000 worth of Puts (short) on MGM on Aug 14 makes one go hmmm?. That's a big bet and Georgie is known to rely on inside information. They haven’t exercised their options yet but its still early. If they get what they hope for they stand to make a boatload of money.

From another blog:

The bigger issue is Paddock himself; we still have no motive whatsoever.

And the only thing anyone can say authoritatively is that Paddock was the dead guy found there after all the shooting was done, and no one entered or left once the PD secured the hallway at about 15 minutes in, until SWAT breached at 72 minutes.

Between the time the shooting started, and a security guard approached the room, anybody else and any number of anybodies could have come and gone, with no one the wiser. That’s about 5-8 minutes. It was 12-15 minutes (unless anyone’s seen a crisper timeline) before LVMPD arrived, were shot at, and retreated to the central elevator lobby, sealing that entire wing off. But between somebody (no one knows who, and no one ever will) wounding an MBH security guard, his immediate retreat, and the first arrival of LVMPD officers, there’s a second time window during which one or an entire clowncar of additional shooters could have exited the rooms and departed into the wind, because the corridor was unsecured.

They never said there was zero evidence. They said no clear evidence.

I am going with Islamic motivated terrorism. Which explains why there is a coverup.

What other motivation offers rewards significant enough to go to the trouble of doing this?

I’ve been saying for awhile that the Father of Internet Jihad, Anwar Al Awlaki has been given an increasingly effective platform by Google’s You Tube.

This makes the fact that he doesn’t fit the profile not a problem.

In fact AAA’s Youtube videos have had a large impact on almost every terror attack you can name.

In the meantime, people critical of Islam have been getting their YouTube accounts pulled, as many FREEPERS know.

The REAL answer to this violence is NOT gun control but for the West to pass child pornography like laws covering Islamic radicalization evangelization videos.

Here is an org that agrees with me and has a lot of info on this topic:

.
Whenever you see “conspiracy theory” in writings you know that you are reading either agitprop or pure propaganda.

Conspiracies are business as usual in politics.

>> “For example ... there’s no way in hell this guy was a “professional gambler” who earned enough money to finance his lifestyle by winning money at casinos.” <<

Learn to read “between the lines.”

He was a gun runner who laundered his cash into tokens, and then took the value back later as a casino check.

This is every-day stuff in Vegas.

I agree that this guy didn’t earn $5m playing video poker in a year, I follow pro poker players (Texas Hold “em - no limit). It’s tough to win that kind of money in that game of SKILL in a good year, unless you win the WSOP championship. Video poker is a game of luck with the house getting well over 50%.

This guy was a pro assassin or drug runner who laundered money through gambling.

The question is who paid him.

Exactly what happened to me when a terrrorist attack occurred at my hotel. I "unfroze" when a bullet missed me by under a foot.

He said big bro was an arms dealer, then bit his tongue.

Honestly, in the end, we’re lucky he wasn’t that bright. Let’s face it, he owned a plane. I haven’t seen what kind of plane but let’s face it even a cheap ass Cessna filled with gas cans would have killed way more people crashing into a concert than what he did with guns. He chose flash, and a slim possibility of escape, over effectiveness.

As soon as I saw the guy’s background I immediately figured he was laundering money that was from some kind of illicit business operation, but I’m not sure his business involved arms trafficking. I’ll have to see some more information to support this theory.

“he owned a plane.”

Has that been proven that he currently did? Don’t think so. License expired as well IIRC.

Yes it has been proven. And who cares if his license is expired, there’s way around that.
