Officials working to piece together why Stephen Paddock meticulously planned his sniper attack on Las Vegas concertgoers a little more than a week ago now might have one less clue.
Clark County Sheriff Joe Lombardo told the Las Vegas Review-Journal an autopsy of Paddock's brain revealed no abnormalities as of Tuesday, tamping down theories that the mass killer had a disorder or brain tumor.
Lombardo told the newspaper he didn't have any information on results from Paddock's toxicology test, which would show whether he was under the influence of any drugs or alcohol at the time of his death.

I wonder how much brain there was left to autopsy after that shot in the mouth.
I saw his death picture. I didn’t see any obvious trauma to the front or sides of his head, so I assume he blew out the back of his head, which was not observable in the photo.
Maybe some of it was missing due to a bullet.

Has anyone of “us” seen a photo of the dead body the LEOs found in the hotel room? It’s my understanding that the body they found and called Paddock’s did NOT have a “13” tat on the neck. I personally don’t care to see it, but I’d be more inclined to believe the gubmint line if several Freepers could tell us yea or nay.

For those who didn’t see the 60 Minutes interview with the four cops who rushed the room, one of the cops who looked at the body said he saw no obvious head wound. Said he did see blood coming out of the mouth.
So it appears he was shot not in the head but somewhere else, like the chest, and blood gurgled out of his mouth.
The one photograph that was leaked was taken from a particular angle where one might think he shot himself through the mouth, but it did not show the back of the head.
The death photo was posted here on FR. There was no tattoo, but there is disagreement as to whether or not the photo of a live Paddock really did show a tat or just an unusual shadow or even veins.
Other than the giant hole in his brain, it looked just fine.
