For those who didn’t see the 60 Minutes interview with the four cops who rushed the room, one of the cops who looked at the body said he saw no obvious head wound. Said he did see blood coming out of the mouth.
So it appears he was shot not in the head but somewhere else, like the chest, and blood gurgled out of his mouth.
The one photograph that was leaked was taken from a particular angle where one might think he shot himself through the mouth, but it did not show the back of the head.
That is complete balderdash. The death photo of Paddock showed tremendous damage to his mouth, deformity around the eyes and massive amounts of blood around his head. There was no wound to the chest or anyplace else visible except for his head. There was a pistol on the floor just above his head with blood splatter leading from the body to the pistol. The man shot himself in the mouth, blowing out the back of his head.
Most likely through the mouth with the revolver.
