I don't know, I think this weekend Chicago over-achieved. The rule of thumb is that only 1 in 6 people shot (with a handgun) die. So for 23 shot, you'd expect 3.8 (call it 4) fatalities. Of course, there are weekends when Chicago under-performs on the lethal scale too - it all averages out in the end. The math nerd in me wants to know what the actual mean and standard deviation are for Chicago, seasonal variations and patterns...but not enough to bother actually going and looking this stuff up.

Yes, but all this killing has “spurred” a new wave of procreation in the “Black Welfare Mothers United” group. The problem is almost as bad as it is for the “42 Virgins Creation Society” in Islam. Actually neither is at all funny, but it is sadly true. Just what is wrong with an ethnic group that produces cannon fodder instead of decent offspring. You have to feel sorry for a Black child born today, whose lifespan is nowhere near that of the bulk of society.
