President Donald Trump expects to nominate a total of four Supreme Court justices, claiming that three seats will likely become vacant during his first term, anonymous sources told Mike Allen of Axios.
Trump expects to fill the seats of Justices Anthony Kennedy, Ruth Bader Ginsburg, and Sonia Sotomayor in addition to nominating Neil Gorsuch, who Trump nominated to fill former Justice Antonin Scalia’s seat earlier this year. Scalia died in 2016, well before Trump took office.

Type 1 is manageable, as is Type 2.
The QUESTION is whether she’s actively managing it. Its possible she isn’t. Human nature is a funny thing. I’ve worked under a Type 1, and have a kid that’s Type 1. I wouldn’t recommend working under one. The stress of the job (almost any job) means they won’t manage well, and you will end up working for a schizophrenic from time to time.
My kid is doing OK, but he’s a teen. His A1C has been as high as 10, which is high, but not for teens. Teens with A1C’s as high as 15 is not uncommon.
Trump could nominate Newt Gingrich, Ted Cruz, Steve Bannon or even his own VP.
Any of them will drive Liberals totally nuts.
Which is why they need to stop the AIDS research money and give it to diabetes research.....they are innocent especially Diabetes type 1 and for the heck of it Diabetes Type 2 are better then those with AIDS.

Ginsburg is 84, she likely won’t make it through another 7 years.. but who knows... as long as her heart is ticking even if the mind is completely gone the left will prop her up there.
Sotomayor, with Type 1 Diabetes female life expectancy on average is only 68, and she’s already 63.. odds of her serving out 7 more years are low.. 3 more? Who Knows.
Assuming Trump serves 8 years, he could name as many as 6 judges, once you include Gorsuch already on the bench... Sotomayor, Ginsburg, Kennedy, Bryer and Thomas are all possible retirements before 2024.
Sadly the most inept and incapable, and flat out laughable member of the court, Kagan, will be sticking around most likely for a long long time.
He should nominate me, I could make Gorsuch look like Ginsburg. I would rule ninety plus percent of current law unconstitutional.
Type 1 is some bad stuff. She’s lived a long time for most I’ve known with that condition.
If Ginsburg was going to retire due to politics, she would have done it during Obama’s term... She didn’t, so she’s not leaving until she’s pushing up daisies or forced out because she can’t do the job any more.
She’s clearly hanging on... My bet is hoping for a Dem win in 2020... which isn’t going to happen. She won’t retire before then unless forced.

Clarence Thomas is one of the best USSC justices we have had in a long, long time.
I would hate to have him step down. His input on all cases are so valuable.
But, he is a good man, I would respect his decision to step down if he wanted to.

You don’t get Type 1 Diabetes from overeating or eating the wrong things, and even if you live your life perfectly its a progressive disease that takes its toll.
Type 1 Diabetes is basically your body doesn’t produce, or doesn’t produce enough insulin, its a progressive nasty and chronic disease. I don’t like Sotomayors politics at all, but that’s no reason for that kind of low life scumbag attack.
Average life expectancy for a woman in the US with Type 1 Diabetes is 68 years. 66 for Men.

I thought it was over for Ginsburg when she was dx’d with pancreatic cancer. I’d really like to know the name of her doctor & the medical treatment she’s been given. Seems miraculous.
