Baggage, exactly.
I can’t think offhand, but I know this situation has happened before, where teams pass on Free agents or trades for players who are bad news. I know I’ve heard that certain players were said to be a disruptive influence in the locker room, and just weren’t worth the hassle, even if a player was a great player on the field.
In this case, capernick is at best a journeyman NFL quarterback, isn’t he? He would not be a superstar presence, and could only hurt team chemistry and fan support.
Seems obvious to me that the Pack should just say no.

And talk about collusion to keep someone out of the NFL

I will never watch a game the rest of my life, one person Im close with who is a massive fan responded when I asked about the speculation the team might be interested in the former 49ers quarterback.
After that pathetic letter that was sent to the fans they should be watching NOW

That would be a very smart move from a public relations standpoint alone. If Roger Goodell had any sense he’d be on the phone to the Packers even as I type this.
But Goodell is probably still hiding under his bed.

Look, the NFL feels 'the black community' will more than compensate for lost middle class fans.
Yep, there's lots of football interest in the black community for shelling out $400 for "family day" at the big game... They'll be there for every game. Count on 'em.
And the advertisers?
They'll be thrilled with white elite snowflakes and black inner city radicals as their new base.... big advertising market for those two groups. Kale anyone?

I want them to sign Kapernick. And I want him to play. And I know he will suck on the field just like he did for the 49ers.

No way Kaepernick plays for the Packers ... the hypocrisy of the Packers front office, coaches and players only goes so far.

I suspect Kaepernick has no interest in playing football anymore, and he filed the grievance partly to ensure that nobody tries to sign him as a backup for the league minimum salary.

What’s this “NFL”? A Federal agency? Never heard of it.
To: ForYourChildren
Kaepernick is not going to be signed by any team. He’s toxic - any team signing him will alienate half its fan base and divide its clubhouse. Add to that the fact that he isn’t very good.
