I’m a free marketeer inside the USA between the 50 states. Outside the USA, not so much if not at all. Which category is that?

They’re missing the “I’d set myself on fire before voting for Hillary” voters.

I haven’t seen the “ClownHall” mockery posts on TownHall articles lately. So, is TownHall acceptable again? What about Thomas Sowell? Is he a smart economist again, or is he still considered an idiot here? Now i think i’ll read the article.

I’m a mix of the first two.

They align with Staunch Conservatives steadfast fiscal conservativismexcept that they are even more supportive of free trade. Nearly 100 percent of them believe that the free market better solves complex economic problems than strong government. They are, however, more liberal than Anti-Elites when it comes to matters of immigration and identity. Immigration is not their priority, they have warm feelings toward immigrants, and they only tepidly support a temporary Muslim travel ban. Their own racial identity is not salient to them, and they are similar to Democrats in their warm feelings toward members of minority groups. They also reject nativist conceptions of American identity.Protectionists believe in free trade INSIDE the USA. The author is a dolt and makes any one that wants to stop all immigration for a long time as some kind of racist neanderthal.
Totally misses the mark. Garbage journalism.

I read the article. I am a member of the first four of the enumerated Trump-voters groups.

I am a “Staunch Conservative” / “Free Market” guy. So much so that I did NOT vote for Candidate Trump. I felt that he was going to be another RINO once he got to Washington. I have to admit, so far, I pleasantly surprised.

Interesting read, but not necessarily that insightful. The Staunch Conservative and Free Marketer groups are closest to how I identify, but there are some generalities for those groups that I think are inaccurate. One thing missing from the discussion of any of the “groups” was a priority on Constitutional Judges. The BIGGEST factor for me in voting for Trump was that I believed that there was at least a slim possibility that he would appoint honorable constitutional judges while I knew an absolutely certainty of the egregious appointees we would get from hillary. So far, I have been pleasantly surprised with the outstanding job Trump has done in this area and hope that he continues to impress.

OTOH, here are the 3 types of hiLIARY votes:
1) Misandrists
2) Gimme Gimme Gimme — money/stuff
3) Gimme Gimme Gimme — power
That’s it. 100%

You should try reading the articles before you post them. This one is carp. Was that the point? To show how f-ed and confused the author apparently is about the subject?
