“If it takes an endorsement to help defeat the radical, antifa left from taking over control of our state, I will do it,” Stewart said, using a word used to describe left-wing activists. “But whether that’s an endorsement or bringing some energy to the base to show up and vote, whatever it takes, I will do whatever I’m asked to do.”

Evidently your guy has a better idea of what's at stake then you do.

The large number of illegal aliens in Virginia do not answer to polls.

They will be the margin of defeat for Gillespie.
He will regret the pro-amnesty policies he supported that have now made Virginia a blue state.

“Corey Stewart would be running away from Northam right now...”

What are you smoking? That’s nothing but wishful thinking.

If Stewart wants to win the senate seat next year, he better damned well hope Gillespie is in the VA governor’s mansion. And so should his supporters.

3 VA Governor polls

(Monmouth): Ed Gillespie (R) 48%, Ralph Northam (D) 47%, Cliff Hyra (L) 3%

(Roanoke College): Ralph Northam (D) 50%, Ed Gillespie (R) 44%, Cliff Hyra (L) 3%

More
VA GOV (Christopher Newport Univ): Ralph Northam (D) 48%, Ed Gillespie (R) 44%, Cliff Hyra (L) 3%

Hyra sounds like a Gary Johnson style douchebag

Once again, you are 100% correct. This game involves two people, Ed Gillispie and Corey Stewart. There is no sense or gain to be had, at stating that Corey Stewart would be running away from Democrat, Ralph Northam right now. Stewart lost the governor primary by a whisker and Gillispie is the Republican candidate...period. End of story.

Bottom line: Gillispie must be elected governor to insure that Stewart runs against low life, insane, communist, “Obama/Clinton, Democrat, brain dead, Tim Kaine.

That means that ever Virginia voter that is legally registered to vote, must turn out and cast their votes for Ed Gillispie. Virginia must turn “RED” folks. this is a critical path election for not only Virginia...but our entire nation for many clear and obvious reasons.

Vote for Ed Gillispie, Support Corey Stewart for the Senate next year, and, Support our great POTUS, Donald J. Trump. Make America Great Again. End of story.

Individual polls are meaningless, polling over time, with the same data set, provides a clear indication of trends.

Gillespie has consistently improved over time, so this is good news for him. No guarantee of victory of course, but good news still.

‘Think of all the appointments’...I’m in VA-7 and supported Brat when he primaried Cantor. I will vote for Gillespie because VA will be re-districted during the next governor’s term...do not want a Dem in the statehouse for this.

Virginia will go RAT for Governor again. That state is dead to me since they elected Terry McAwful during an off-year election.

>> I hate to break it to you, but President Reagan, Vice President Cheney, Sarah Palin and Steve Bannon were/are not libertarians, small L or otherwise. Perhaps you mean classical liberal, which is what most modern conservatives actually are? <<

I hate to break it to you, but "classical liberals" had a lot more than in common with modern day libertarians than modern day conservatives. Using the term "liberal" a century ago was always in the context of someone who was ECONOMICALLY conservative and believed in a free-market system and Laissez-faire financial sysems. It NEVER meant a belief in social conservativism, traditional values, or a strong national defense.

People who were "liberal" centuries ago on religious beliefs and morality would still be "liberal" on those topics today!
