McCain’s slam at Trump over draft deferment

Sen. John McCain has taken an obvious, strong, personal dislike of President Trump.

The most recent sign of this personal spat came to light in the October 22 online editions of FNC, the NY Post, and many other periodicals, when Sen. McCain called Trump to task for using bone spurs to evade military service during the Vietnam War.

Sen. John McCain took some veiled shots at President Trump over the weekend — slamming high income draft dodgers like himself for using their wealth to avoid serving in the Vietnam War.

“One aspect of the conflict, by the way, that I will never ever countenance is that we drafted the lowest income level of America and the highest income level found a doctor that would say that they had a bone spur,” the Arizona lawmaker told C-SPAN3 in an interview that aired Sunday.

The leftist freaks’ buzzword this weekend was “bonespurs”.

From what I have read you did enough damage to our efforts when you served to last for eternity!

He’d probably have become a mean drunk on his 3d wife and got rich on a chain of successful auto dealerships

I have a bone spur.

Running is out. Marching would be out.

Walking is ok if I wear the proper shoes.

Wow, that is a badly written sentence. Read literally, it says McCain was slamming himself for being a high income draft dodger.

All that time spent being indoctrinated into liberal thinking during journalism school is really reducing the amount of time they learn about the little things like language and writing.

It’s amazing how some people, when they find out the end is close, raise above petty issues and make the most of the time they have left. Once they stop focusing on the long term they can do so much to reconcile with those they’ve held grudges against, and help friends and loved ones get through their passing, and leave the world a better place as they move on with personal peacefulness.

Then there are people like McCain who want make everyone else as miserable as they are both as it happens and after they are gone.

We’ve reached the point where McCain’s hatred for the President is the only thing he has to live for. Pathetic.

I hope that his revenge is comforting to him as he burns in Hell. He’s gonna need it.

Did Juan ever speak out against John F. Kerry? NO, he defended him, like the phony he is.

Bone spurs on feet. He went in three years in a row and received F1 status. HE actually He would not have had to return for additional evaluation!
Fourth time they gave him F4.

Not a rumor
Thats why he got downed by AAA but has continued to claim for almost 50 years that it was a SAM
He also continues to falsely claim that his aircraft on the Forrestal was struck by an errant Zuni missile, when it was actually the aircraft of another aviator, CDR Fred White.
Who is not mentioned in McCains memoir

The a-hole allegedly crashed three planes and nearly sank a carrier...one of ours, killing 134 sailors. His CINPAC dad was able to “clear him” of any fault.

The article Four Winds The Real McCain is well known around the net; not so well known is that after mccain’s return home and to congress he was disliked, to say the least, by pow/mia families, and much controversy regarding mccain’s lack of support for those left behind, etc

I have a bottle of Elijah Craig waiting to be uncorked on that blessed day.

If he is buried in Arlington it would be a much shorter trip for me than if he is buried in AZ (hint-hint)

Maybe McCain and Fonda will die on the very same day. If that were to happen, I’d almost go for making that day a national holiday.

Even Algore went to VN and pretty sure his daddy could have kept him from going............. As a Congressman’s son he was given special attention, a short tour,a rapid promotion and an early discharge. He wanted to get to seminary school to become a minister. He was in an Engineer Bn or Bde and pulled ambush duty?? Its my understanding he was on the staff of the Unit’s news paper. If Trump went in, do you think you would have found him in the Bush or at some desk in the Pentagon. Where ever he was I’m sure he would have done his duty in a safe place. Most college kids ended up in positions like finance or unit clerks and sent to Germany. Some of us went OCS after basic, why not? I’m sure Trump would not have stayed an E-1 for long considering he had 4 yrs of HS prep.

Short tour as a photog as I recall. Shorter than horse face? Don’t know. I just remember a pic of him with his rifle barrel pointing at his face while he stuffed his duffle bag or rucksack. Something along those lines. He ended up being a minister though. Minister of climate with a YUGE collection plate. ;-)
