The University of Wisconsin-Madison hopes to hire a “Violence Prevention Specialist” who will work on “engaging men” in sexual assault prevention.

The Violence Prevention Specialist will primarily work to create programming on “reduction of sexual assault, dating violence, and stalking,” and a recent job posting notes that “engaging men” will be an integral aspect of this work.

Many years ago, the high school football team was intimidating and bullying. In a coversation about same, the footballers themselves decided that masculine strength was meant to build and serve not dominate and bully. School culture improved a lot.

Or how any child can simply ask their school counselor how to approach their father about tickling, and get DHS to kick him out of his home for a week, and get put on a watch list.

Women are not like this in other countries that don’t have American television. Modern American women are seriously messed up in the head, but what is causing it?

I suspect the football programs will start being shut down for other reasons. The revelations that repeat concussions cause a lifetime of harm, the money sink they pose for the majority of schools, the political grandstanding infecting the game and offending the few who buy tickets ... all of which are converging at once when we’ve already had silent seething over the cost of new stadiums instead of putting money into academics.

If we than a “thumbs up” feature, I’d give you one. That’s what I did, I did not get involved with “campus life” or politics. I never even went to a football game.
