I suspect Trump’s visit to the summit played a large role in this.
2. It's not our own government. It has to be country or organization we're willing to cover for.
3. The MO of the Saudi's is clear they like to target civilians. The 9/11/01 attack they financed.
4. We covered for the Saudi in 2001 when we were fully aware who did it. The only other country we covered for was Israel during the time of war and it was a military target (Civilians is not there MO.)
5. Trump went to Saudi Arabia. Shortly after out of the blue they allowed limited driving privileges to women and they opened trade dealings with Russia which is a long term enemy of the Saudis.
6. The Saudis have managing control of the hotel in question. Which means they can help cover for themselves. Like video recordings not working that day. Moving tons of weapons and ammo to the room without questions and so on.
7. The CEO of the hotel hired the regular security guard Jesus Campos personally. Which means it was likely planed
8. It was a well financed attack. Meaning someone had a lot of money to do it.
