George W. Bush Bashes Cheney, Rumsfeld: ‘They Didn’t Make One F****** Decision’
Breitbart ^ | 11-6-2017 | Katherine Rodriguez

Posted on 11/06/2017 6:50:00 AM PST by blam

Former President George W. Bush went off on his former vice president and defense secretary, stating bluntly that “they did not make one f****** decision.” Bush made the inflammatory remark about his former colleagues in Mark K. Updegrove’s book The Last Republicans: Inside the Extraordinary Relationship Between George H. W. Bush and George W. Bush, which is scheduled to be released November 14.

The 43rd president pushed back against critics who claim he did not make major decisions during his presidency, and that former Vice President Dick Cheney and Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld made most of the important decisions in the White House.

They “didn’t make one f****** decision,” Bush claimed. “The fact that there was any doubt in anyone’s mind about who the president was, blows my mind.”

Updegrove’s book describes the relationship between the younger Bush and his father, but his book is making headlines ahead of its November 14 release.

Other excerpts from the book that are already public quote both former presidents making disparaging statements about President Trump.

The elder Bush attacked Trump’s leadership style and called the current president a “blowhard.”

The younger Bush also made his disdain for Trump known recently in an October speech at the George W. Bush Institute, where he rejected Trump’s ideology and defended globalism.

Isn’t that amazing, considering how they go after Trump.

It’s hard to fathom these guys could be so bad.

They found nothing worth addressing when it came to Obama.

I’m mean that’s just shocking.

Indeed. And dropping their masks explains everything that was cause for wonder about both Bush presidents during their time in office. Bush one calls President Trump a blowhard. Well, Pres Trump is alive and moving fast and with great agility and getting more done in 10 months than both Bush exes ever even tried to do in their four and eight years. Shame on the both of them and their Rino families. We fought hard for George Bush and we fight now for the present president, Donald Trump. They had our loyalty, however our misgivings, and now they owe the American public loyalty to Pres Trump. Both Bushes also owe their supporters over the years an apology for running for office under false pretenses. Those Republicans I respected and really liked were Donald Rumsfeld and Dick Chaney and would have voted for either of them over either Bush. God bless Pres Trump and keep him safe from the swamp creatures like the Bushes and Clintons and their families.

I stopped defending Dubya after he fired Rumsfeld. Proved to me he didn’t believe the buck stopped with him.

What’s so sad about all this is the totally lost legacy for decency the Bush ex-POTUSes had, if nothing else. They have thrown that away in their irrational hatred of President Trump, while having spent decades now cozying up to the Clintons and later the Obamas.

Soon enough, tho we know not when, ‘41 will be passing on to his eternal reward. There will likely be a laying in state at the US Capitol, preceded by a caisson roll up Constitution Avenue in DC.

We went to that for President Reagan and almost certainly would have gone also for GHWB. Not now. GHWB was never a RWR but, we thought, was a decent person. I no longer believe he’s a ‘decent person,’ and will be otherwise engaged whenever his public funereal services take place.

Well, if one were to subscribe to Calvinistic predestination, the US would have eventually reached the point of electing Trump regardless of which path we took.

If Gore/Kerry had been elected, maybe Obama would never have reached the office. Truth is, after Reagan, this country was an auto-pilot with destiny. At some point in time, a Trump like character would finally be elected to advance the counter-revolution and restore some semblance of constitutional order.

Proverbs, Twain, and Lincoln. So much for George - he failed to read all three.

Or go after a dem, just once, to humor us.
