Wow, NOT good. Virginia was once a state my husband and I were thinking of moving to (from here in The People's Republik of Connecticut). I wouldn't even consider living there now. Sad, because I've always loved VA.
VA is a beautiful state and generally well-run. I lived there for 36 years. The coming changes will destroy the state the same way CA was destroyed.
Thank you for your kind words about my state of birth. I now live in NC-which is also turning increasingly blue. VA was great in my youth. You feel like it’s always 1776 due to the numerous history and being the birthplace of 8 presidents. You feel almost related to G. Washington and T. Jefferson. It is very sad.
Also, I’ve always felt the same way about New England. CT is beautiful too, like all the NE states. What a pity so much history and natural beauty is tainted by leftism.
