A day after explosive allegations of sexual assault surfaced against Alabama senate candidate Roy Moore, the Republican Partys senate campaign arm has severed financial ties with the embattled former state supreme court justice.
A joint fundraising committee benefitting Moore and a handful of Republican Party organs filed paperwork with the Federal Election Commission on Friday removing the National Republican Senatorial Committee as one of its beneficiaries. Going forward, the committees fundraising will benefit Moores Senate campaign, the Alabama Republican Party, and the Republican National Committee but not the NRSC.
The NRSCs removal from the account is the most concrete step taken to date to create distance between the national Republican Party and the Moore campaign. Other lawmakers have called on Moore to leave the race. But most have said he should do so only if the accusations are proven true. These condemnations have all come in the aftermath of the Washington Post report detailing how Moore, decades ago, had sexually assaulted a 14 year old girl and propositioned three other female minors. The Post quoted four women on the record and had 30 sources in total. The Moore campaign has denied the charges.
The RNC and the NRSC did not respond to requests for comment.

This whole thing has been hatched up by the GOPe slime. Moore wasn’t THEIR candidate, so now they’re going to try and knock him out.
Politics is a dirty business.
The allegations are over 30 years old, and Moore has been in public life, and some controversies, all that time...so, why haven’t they come out before?
Now, GOPe is cutting off his funding.
If anything it's going to help him. People in Bama are pissed off royally at the GOP, and will vote for him just to give them the finger, if for no other reason.
Give 'em Hell, Moore!
I hope Moore wins in a landslide.
I tried leaving a message (on the donation ext) at NRSC...of course, you only get to leave a message (chicken shats). So I did.
I told them not another 1¢ for cheating McConJob’s NRSC since they’re up to their MS Deep State smear tricks.
I hope others will call/tweet/FB, etc., as well.

I very much hope that Trump and Pence personally campaigns hard for Roy Moore. Losing this seat would be seen as a huge victory for the anti-Trump forces and would empower McConnell and fellow GOP Swampers such as Flake, McCain, Corker, Murkowski, Collins, Romney... This would hurt Pres. Trump’s political power and position us poorly for next year’s mid-terms. This is not a race that we can afford to lose. Remember, this is not about Roy Moore being too conservative or a kook (as the elitists contend) but about a Washington Post / DC Swamp hit piece.
Also, imagine if we lost a Senate seat and all we got out of it was Sleepy Jeff Sessions The Recuser at DOJ. But let’s not be down, let’s get enthusiastic about Roy Moore and not let the Dark Side get into our heads.
16 then and now.
Of course he’s not guilty, you dummy.
This is the Thad Cochran disaster replay. McConnell’s fingerprints are all over it, and there’s too much coordination between media, GOP senators, NRSC, and Romney for this to be anything other than disinformation.
Mark Levin’s opinion on this complete hit job: http://www.thegatewaypundit.com/2017/11/mark-levin-exposes-wapo-hit-piece-judge-moore-complete-fabrication/
Within Alabama republican voters, I would say that 75 percent are anti-mccain and anti-McConnell. Extreme frustration with the elite of the party now exists.
I wouldn’t give the Republicans a red cent and haven’t in years but I WILL give to Judge Moore’s campaign. Have I said how much I DESPISE Republicans lately? I can count on one hand the ones that I’d even give the time of day to.......grrrrrr
Execution then a Trial sounds like Democratic Party way
IF you’re not one of the UniParty, this is what happens to you.
The low-life, lying GOPe is a nothing burger: done nothing, is nothing.
Thanks. Levin is spot on.
DC Swamp justice, hanging first, trial later.

They will NOT go down willingly, but will fight to the finish.
This might work in some purple squish state.
I doubt it will work in Alabama though.
As a Jewess on the US, I can only point out that the number of women who allegedly DATED, but had no sex with, Roy Moore is EXACTLY the same number who accused President Clinton of FORCIBLE RAPE, a FAR more serious offense. Now we know why all REAL Americans put our 2nd Amendment FIRST. Just sayin!
