Young girl, impressed with an older man she has an acquaintance with, tells her girlfriends (the corroborating “witnesses”), that the man tried to set up a date with her, to impress them with how “mature” she is. Her girl friends apparently believed it then and now help perpetuate what was a young girl’s bragging sort of lie.
Why now? The “young girl” now as an adult has become am activist Leftist and knows the impact her little-girl-lie would have in today’s political environment. Maybe she can take down a popular Conservative politician everyone else has failed to take down; and make herself famous to boot.
