Honestly, I don’t understand your logic.

It only takes 24 GOP no votes to stop the GOP in the House.

And I don’t understand the “10 of the 21” you’re trying to convey.

You said that are 34 Republican House members from CA,IL,NY,NJ. Thirteen of those voted against the bill, leaving 21 who voted for the Bill. Of those 21, 10 could have voted against the bill, and is still would have passed.

My main point was that if any of those 21 (from CA,IL,NY or NJ, and voted for the bill), really thought they would not be reelected, based upon voting for the bill, they were a number of 'no votes' available to them.

If Ryan was a Nan he would have had them escorted out.

Won’t pass the Senate, and the House knows it.

Only Ryan would construct a tax bill to raise taxes!

All I can figure is that they have to be perceived by their donors as “trying” while all along hoping the Senate inserts one of their infamous poison pills and refusing to take it out in conference.

Or somebody in the House doing the same.

Making the final product radioactive.

Because it’s certain that at least 24 of those 34 will be unelected if anything like the current two forms passes.

Exactly! Ryan is too incompetent to get anything passed that would pass the Senate.

Got it.

We’ll see what they do after the joint conference when it really counts.

I don’t think you really understand how bad this bill is.

You say this bill is 'bad', because your taxes are going to go up. I say it's good, because my taxes will go down by ~ $10k.

You say 'millions are going to pay more', I say 10's of millions are going to pay less.

And one of the thing to remember, rust belt Democrats, the ones in PA,OH,IN,MI,WI they are more likely to benefit.

Agreed.

One thing, I heard at once, thought was brilliant, but then never again, was the idea of allowing SALT deductions up to a certain amount, I think it was $100k. I think that would be a very good idea. I think that would get them pretty much all of the benefit of eliminating SALT, but also keep from hurting the little guys.

Good that they are saying Goodbye, because 100% of the excrement for brains Democraps voted to keep high taxes on their constituents.

The bill is dangerous to the Dems because up until now, all of their outrageous state programs that they keep passing were propped up by their constituents able to wright them off on Federal taxes.

Get that? If this goes through, all of the welfare states will implode overnight.
