Exclusive: Accuser to Roy Moore, 'Where does your immorality end?'
al.com ^ | Nov 28, 2017

Posted on 11/29/2017 10:39:09 AM PST by detective

In an impassioned letter released exclusively today to AL.com, Leigh Corfman, who accused Roy Moore of undressing her when she was 14 and he was 32, demanded the Republican Senate candidate stop calling her a liar, and attacking her character and end his "smears and false denials."

AL.com received a copy of the letter in person from Corfman. She declined to comment beyond what was contained in the letter.

"I am not getting paid for speaking up. I am not getting rewarded from your political opponents. What I am getting is stronger by refusing to blame myself and speaking the truth out loud," the letter states.

Leigh Corfman’s own Mother disputed aspects of the girl’s story. Workers at the restaurant she claims to have worked at (while being under the legal work age) have disputed that she worked there, and pointed out inconsistencies with the story she told and the actual configuration of the building.

Moore completely denies her story.

The ONLY value in this story - as far as current evidence shows - is to get people to think it may have happened and to have exactly the reaction you provided.

There is a reason why such late-breaking, politically devastating stories should be held in a state of disbelief until a week or two after the allegations are made - they often are whole-cloth fabrications, as this one appears to be.

‘Been taking the arrows here for a couple weeks. ... But get ready for the “my great grandmother married at 8”’

Do you listen to yourself? Do you think you add luster to the credibility of the accuser?

Nothing. These wailing hysterics are simply engaging in agitprop.

I hope so      :)

but the total blindness to any possibility of innocence and dumbocrap political tricks could indicate pathology.

“nope just someone that things its SICK when 32 year old men date teens.. but thats just me.”

Young women in their late teens have been dating and marrying for centuries.

Diana Spencer was 17 when she began to date Prince Charles, then in his 30s. They married when she was 19.

Jackie Bouvier was in her teens when first engaged. She broke it off and started dating JFK when she was 21 and he was in his 30s.

Roy Moore was a West Point graduate and Vietnam veteran. After his service he went to law school and did not start working until his early 30s. When looking to settle down and marry he courted women in their late teens and early 20s and by all accounts was a perfect gentleman.

His wife of almost 40 years is 14 years younger than he is.

Moore never sexually abused 14 year old girls.

These are lies.

It is the dishonest and calculated false accusations that are sick.

The WaPo says this encounter with Corfman occurred in 1979. But I went to Classmates.com and found that she was in the class of 1979 (invited to the 30-year reunion), which would make her at least 17, perhaps 18, in 1979.

Has this been dealt with?

##############

I don’t think it has been dealt with Chaguito. That is an excellent catch, and an example of why this site’s posters will always grind trolls into paste by the end of the day.

Even if he didnt do anything inappropriate.. still no way a grown man should be anywhere NEAR a 14 year old that way... none!

There is no proof he was ever near her, 'that way'.

but the fact is still he was a grown man after teens...

If it's a fact that Moore dated her when she was 14, then you should have no problems at all providing the proof that it happened.

While we wait for your proof, you can read about the inconsistencies in her story in the article below.

“but the total blindness to any possibility of innocence and dumbocrap political tricks could indicate pathology”

That is true. Very un-American attitudes, however. More like the Queen of Hearts.

‘Let the jury consider their verdict,’ the King said, for about the twentieth time that day. ‘No, no!’ said the Queen. ‘Sentence first—verdict afterwards.’

Do you know the name and address of the high school she graduated from?

I guess you prefer the abortion enabler. Much worse, IMO, even if the accusations are true. That has not credibly been shown, and an allegation is just that.

So what? Perfectly legal. If not to your taste (and it’s not really to mine, either), again, so what?

Would a young girl ever lie about her age? What if she told Judge Moore that she was 19? If he touched her, thinking she was 19. Never mind, girls NEVER lie.

Sometimes in life there are no good answers. Two goods conflict, or two evils are the only choices available.

So you must prioritize what is the more important. You can make your choices, but someone that makes a different choice is not a hypocrite because he thinks one evil (pedophilia by one man, if the allegations actually happen to be true) is less than supporting a man who would vote to continue the abortion racket that has taken over 60,000,000 lives in the United States so far.

Also, where do you get off thinking that not believing the women is “sicker” than what you think Moore did? There is simply no proof, and can never be at this late date, most likely. Women do lie about rape, sexual harassment, and other things quite often.

And Democrats lie practically all the time. So just what makes their claims “credible”.

Duh, back then 18 year olds & 17 year olds got married all the time and they didn’t marry their classmates. They married men who were older & established. It is important to put things in context and use the standards of the time & place not just your own ideas of morality grown in another time & place.

Too much holier than thou for my taste. There are plenty of successful December May marriages.

I lump it in with the Civil War statue removers.

Should we condemn the people who erected statues to the slave-holding southern leaders of a rebellion against the United States, or should we acknowledge that they were acting out a societal norm of the time when they chose to honor their heritage that they were much closer to in time than we are today?

By that same thinking, do we condemn the dating actions of someone 40 years ago using the judgements of today, or do we acknowledge what was common back then that is less so today? I might even stipulate that Moore was on the outer bubble of that acceptable practice that might have been more common to his parents and grandparents than to his contemporaries.

If we condemn Roy Moore today, must we also demand that all Civil War statues be removed, too, because the people would never erect those statues today?

Actually you are acting like a hypocrite. If you are accused of something wouldn’t you want the benefit of innocent until proven guilty? Or if we made up a plausible story about you would you just take the hit because the accusation was foul?
