He had all those $100 millions + , and thought he should have any woman he met. Think of the A and B list actresses he met & interviewed. But had to settle for those who he worked with / visited his office.

If Lauer had a “lock button” it had to be installed by someone, maybe not him. By whom? Paid by whom? Known about by whom? These are issues the victims might want to bring up when they sue the crap out of NBC for tolerating and abetting this scumbag.

Did the lock stop someone from getting OUT, or just prevent someone from walking IN?
I can see having a "do not disturb" lock installed. I have a hard time believing that the company would allow a lock to be installed that would prevent somebody from walking out of the office. At the least, that would be a fire code violation.
And to most of the left Hefner was a hero. All of this abuse and exploitation was really “liberation.”
Would a Fire Marshall approve the button-under-the-desk lock?
