You would think. But different rules for the media elite.
This stuff is so tidal wave at this point it’s hard not to be skeptical
Screwed her till she passed out
Really?
any recent or are these all decades old too?
why do smart women continue to work along side any man who does this stuff? They help perpetuate it.
I’m glad it’s now becoming more public, but how many smart women are being so enabling just for their job?
Truth is more prosperous to a person than hanging onto some job/career.
PPP time
Probable
Partly
Payday
Yes, there are some missing steps in the story. I’m content concluding that Lauer is a truly reprehensible person, but I’m not sure he could be convicted of anything based on this particular fact pattern.
You don’t pass out from Spamx unless it’s wrapped around your neck
Spandex was killed by Lycra
Another icon of the left bites the dust. The smug, self-adoring piece of leftist crap is out on the street. But I don’t feel sorry for him. He will soon find a high-paying low-effort job and will not be hurting.
Many more to go before the “me too” fad runs out of steam. I’m enjoying it.
Key here is the upper bosses knew what was going on and did nothing to stop it.
We want all the NBC execs fired. They need to clean house.
read and put details together. it’s usually simplest and best way to understand things.
she was bent over a chair which could limit oxygen and make her pass out.
heck some people’s body’s are dense, heavy and just them on top of you can limit your breathing ability let alone having actions done against your wanting at the same time.
Or alcohol. Obviously she did not pass out from the sex.
Some kind of issue with punctuation in this excerpt but gee whiz, I think even I can get the drift of it.
His management was complicit. Matt Lauer ain't smart enough to install access control equipment like that, which come to think of it, is something done by licensed security system personnel in most states.
Someone has known about this all along and has record of it somewhere.
Meanwhile, last nite on CNN, I happen to know that almost an entire segment of Anderson Cooper 131 was "Breaking News! Someone said that Donald Trump said something to someone else about 0bama's birth certificate!!", followed by a couple of obligatory minutes on this story.
Critical thinking alive and well at FR. I agree with you. Good questions you raise.
Yep
Payday!! But at the time it was consensual and prolly both had a few drinks. A roll in the hay.
Women in media and Hollywood are seeing an easy way to make money via lawsuits and to revise in their mind what happened years ago. They want to mythologize themselves.
If they are not suing, they are still making up myths about their past behavior. Sure Harvey Weinstein was predatory scum but with many of these other guys it was consensual with women dressing provocatively and coming on the same way.
He must’ve been absolutely crapping himself ever since the Weinstein story broke.
And everyday NBC sent him out to be their face - even though they KNEW.
Remember when companies like Gibson Guitars were raided over nothing?
NBC really really needs a police raid.
My Hollywood friends are enjoying watching libs squirm but their view on how women behave out there is not good
Their opinion is most of those women volunteer anything for s roll and scum like Weinstein take the opportunity
Lauer
That is a much weirder story
It could have been both.
Most people simply lock their door when they don’t want traffic.
I’m sure a pervert would never say “hey! I kinda like luring women to my office and would appreciate the convenience of this lock so I don’t have to interrupt my seduction routine”
But as long as it’s THERE....
Why didn’t she call the police at the time of the assault?
What sort of drugs would you require to believe it?
