The plea deal has to do with lying about contacts made after the election. The plea deal has absolutely nothing to do with whatever Flynn plans to testify to against Trump et al. And unless the MSM is privy to information no on record, nobody knows what his testimony will be.

You may recall that Trump said he never talked to the Russians for many months. You will recall too that Bill Clinton lied about Lewinsky. He lied until science proved he'd lied. His supporters believed him when he lied. Then, when it was clear that he'd lied, they accepted the new approach of saying it was nobody's business but his and Monica's. It was a private matter and a witch hunt. There was no lie. Trump, a man from the Clinton wing of the Democrat Party until very recently, has clearly lied about this issue. So now those who are more faithful to Trump than they are to the truth will come up with a new spin as to why his lying about meeting with the Russians was okay. If it was okay, then why did Trump and Flynn lie?

The parallels are amazing between those who supported Clinton no matter how much he lied and those who support Trump when he lies. Conservatism is too important as a way of life and as a governing philosophy to allow it to be undermined by this type of bad character.

I think it will end after Flynn. Kushner and Jr. have their daddy’s money and can battle on in perpetuity. Flynn couldn’t, and I feel really sad about that as they financially drained him.

My argument here is that the current accusations against Trump are ... Trunped up. Talking to the Russians isn’t a crime (although it seems to be now) - if they manage to connect the dots and somehow prove that Trump worked with the Russians to throw the election - up toss him out in a heartbeat just as I wanted to do with Obama and the uranium deal.

But do recall that Reagan was attacked for making a deal with Khomeini and for the Iran contra deal and never went down. And let’s not even go after the stupid investigation into W where Scooter Libby got the death penalty for misremembering what he had for breakfast 2 years ago.

Jared lied on his Security Clearance more than once. An ordinary American would have never get a clearance after this type of an obvious lie. So it is true that Trump wealth is beneficial. Regular folks are required to tell the truth. Hubris catches up with folks like Jared, though. I’m not so sure his father-in-laws vast riches can protect him from himself.

You’re inverting the notion of truth. First of all responding to vague questions about speaking /meeting. Secondly, if Trump were under oath I can assure you his lawyers would have all the disclosure necessary so he could respond under oath or FBI questioning of any meetings, speaking with etc. So your ridiculous Clinton comparison is both half - baked and stupid.
