ABC News has announced that Brian Ross would be suspended for four weeks without pay “effective immediately.”
“It is vital we get the story right and retain the trust we have built with our audience – these are our core principles. We fell far short of that yesterday,” the network said in a statement on Saturday. “Effective immediately, Brian Ross will be suspended for four weeks without pay.”
Ross came under considerable fire on Friday after he erroneously reported on live television that then-candidate Donald Trump had instructed Michael Flynn to make contact with the Russians.

They are worried now that while we are uncovering their sexual misdeeds, we'll find that there is even more $hit under their table. Also this adversely affected our stock market, and the SEC could be entertaining a “look see!”

This guy’s intentional hate and bias cost investors many billions. Why is he not under SEC investigation and massive fines and penalties at the least? This was not an honest mistake this was a continuation of media hate. There needs to be a few significant examples of the dangers of media people continuing to do this.
Considering the damage he did to the stock market, I could envision a massive class action suit against ABC on behalf of the millions of stockholders that lost money because of this farce.
So, he was colluding to repair relationships and defeat terrorism? Surely that is an impeachable offense! Four weeks is not nearly enough. Ross should be fired.

This is ABC otherwise known as the ALL BULLSH*T CHANNEL they wont fire him just like they didnt fire him when he claimed that the Colorado movie theater shooter was a tea party member
Ross also flubbed up on ‘candidate Trump’ as opposed to ‘President-elect Trump’.
That made a significant difference in the tone/implication of Ross’s initial report and the clarification and the correction.
How about Joy Behar, who soiled a fresh pair of panties in delight upon the breaking fake news?
