I’m a little perturbed that this thread has become a discussion about football on a day with momentous news from our President and Alt-Media about the corrupt Deep State/Media Complex threatening our duly elected President and our republic itself.
At this point in our country’s history I couldn’t care less about football.
There's a story at American Thinker today about the Don James coached Washington Huskies of the 70's that dominated everybody. Outspoken conservative James was lauded by Reagan which caught the ire of the liberal UW president and led to the downfall of the coach and the entire UW football program. As bray knows, the northwest is crazy with liberalism.
FreeRepublic.com is more than a single thread. It's a huge site and has been the forerunner of what is good for America for two decades.

Not to be dismissive but I have found that my personal priorities over the past dozen years have evolved to:
1) Read/lurk the ‘net
2) Pray for guidance
3) Run the ‘loader (Especially since I added that Glock to my collection, adding .40 S&W to the inventory)

Many of the OT (Seemingly) is often very intertwined to political issues.
College football is big business... and a good share of non ethical/corruption present
NFL - well - if we are not in a coma we understand the subsidizes, country trashing owner and some very nasty players when it comes to racism, patriotism, capitalism
Anything else is cool. I personally LIKE to know more about the faceless screen names here.. their interests, passions, as well as their political observations.
So please tell us something about what you care about and think is relevant, instead of your rant against football.
Now, Now - we are talking College sports, And why are the powers that be not taking into account the Strength of schedule when deciding on rankings?
If any of the top ranked teams played even ONE patsy team they should automatically be disqualified from the "Post" season - where the Colleges make their REAL $$$$
