A Pennsylvania State University sociology professor recently argued that eating meat perpetuates “hegemonic masculinity” and “gender hegemony.”
In the most recent issue of the Journal of Feminist Geography, professor Anne DeLessio-Parson argues that “hegemonic masculinity implies an imperative to eat meat” and that this helps reify other power hierarchies as well.

Her description reads not so much as a way to understand what people eat and why, as an attempt to figure out a sociological way to convince people to stop eating meat (”Hey! I have a PhD! I know what I’m talking about!”)...

Hence, in the term "hegemonic masculinity", the adjective hegemonic refers to the cultural dynamics by means of which a social group claims, and sustains, a leading and dominant position in a social hierarchy; nonetheless, hegemonic masculinity embodies a form of social organization that has been sociologically challenged and changed."
The usual feminist anti-male, anti-family, anti-Chrisitanity, equality, SJW stance. And of course, if you disagree, you're racist, a white supremacist, bigoted, homophobic, all the phobics and a hater. Can't have strong men around like Trump, no sirree. They're capitalist and believe in America's founding principles.

I’m a senior woman. In 1953/54 my mother tells me that when she was putting groceries away, she would have to hide the meat jars of baby food. I would start screaming for MEAT!!
