Local media isn’t even mentioning Ellison.

That would be interesting. Even in a blue state like Minnesota a black radical like Keith Ellison would have a hard time winning a statewide race. Maxine Waters comes from a universally safe seat in LA and an overwhelmingly blue state like California, but she wouldn’t even come close to winning a US Senate or gubernatorial race there. A lot of white Democrats, in the secrecy of the voting booth, will still not pull the lever in the voting booth or punch the hole in a card for a radical, extreme left-wing black candidate in a statewide race. It’s ok when Keith Ellison and Maxine Waters represent a majority black congressional district, but a state or national office is something else all together. White liberal tolerance for black radicals has its limits!

Doubt it, they know he’s not popular. My bet is the most progressive female the DFL has to offer.
