I think too much is being made of "now they'll go after Trump for this", as if the left had not already attacked Trump over this already. I think it is more related to elections, such as the one in Alabama this year and the elections in 2018 and 2020. Trump is not going anywhere over "sexual allegations", "p*ssy grabbing", etc. Even the left is smart enough to know they cannot get on their sexual harassment high horse with gropers like Franken around.

Great point and strong possibility. He pointed out he did nothing as bad as Trump, and ESPECIALLY Moore. So, once Moore wins he will say he will not resign if Moore is seated. Why should he resign if he’s sure the ethics committee will exonerate him? And rest assured EVERY word of his speech was approved by Schumer. This is simply one last chance to stop Moore and get another senate seat and create an issue to run on.

We may never know, but I guarantee you he's not the last vermin to be revealed in the house and senate. Senate candidate (and current Rep) Marsha Blackburn is daily demanding Congress get to the bottom of the slush fund business.
I disagree with those who say this was all scripted by Chuckie. This is all about Al, and will not end well for the Dimms when all is said and done. If their whole plan for 2018 is to harp on the Access Hollywood tape and their phony Moore witchhunt, they're in for a bad mid-term.
