Molina, his wife, and two of their children, prepared to leave, but had to wait for two more of his children who were still in the bathroom. When they walked out into the dining room, Herrera pointed the gun at them, authorities say.
Molina, a licensed handgun owner, quickly pulled out his own gun and shot Herrera several times, killing him, police say.
Officer said that Molina shot in defense of a third person, and the incident remains under investigation.
"...in defense of a third person..." - those were his children!

I read about 100 of the comments at DM. All but one are from the US and are supportive. Not one written by a Brit bed wetter. One from Germany pointing out that age 19 is not a teen. Most congratulate Dad on his gun control.
