“He was recused, he didn’t recuse himself. There’s a huge difference!”

I can’t think of an example of a left wing activist judge voluntarily recusing himself. Must be rare.

So which is it, was the judge removed involuntarily due to conflicts of interest, or did the judge voluntarily remove (recuse) himself?

Huge difference.

Hate to say it, but when the rule of law is cheated, often it reverts to chaos and warfare in society.

These FISA judges need to come clean or face the guillotine.

One of the problems on the West Coast are judges, who are big time Sierra Club donors, members and often officers or board members in the local and national Sierra Club. So when one of their Sierra Club lawyers are suing you for some petty eco violation, you have a problem.

A friend got into a scuffle with some fish and game and eco terrorists. Somehow his lawyer had gotten membership lists and donor lists of the local judges.

His lawyer was an out of town guy. So his lawyer had no problems burning judicial bridges here. He went through 3 judges before they agreed to settle out of court with a visiting non Sierra club judge. Our friend got a minimal fine versus a big fine and some possible jail time.
