What the heck is going on here? Here in Detroit, the local WXYZ morning anchor Malcolm Maddox was just suspended last week for the same thing..........wow.
Had a buddy that was a News Director — VP at a television station. He loved to say that the Ron Burgundy crap was right on and that a good percentage of the on air personalities we ding-dongs.
He did say that this was why when you got a good anchor, you paid them as much as you could to keep them.
