Fox News host Greg Gutfeld says he hopes Republican Roy Moore loses Tuesday’s special election in Alabama for a U.S. Senate seat.
“I hate team-sport politics, and right now this is team-sport politics,” he said on “The Five” on Monday. “The argument is: Moore is bad, but a Democrat is worse, and... it’s a shame, because it shouldn’t be. It doesn’t always have to be a team sport.”
He said President Donald Trump throwing his weight behind Moore is part of the “team sport” element of politics.
“Even though Trump is endorsing this guy, it’s because he has to, because it’s his team,” Gutfeld said. “And I have to say, you know, I hope the guy loses.”
He added:
“If you’re upset that I say that, that is not on me. That’s on the team-sport ideology that’s pernicious because the long-term consequences of a Moore is much worse than the initial loss that you will experience tomorrow. Trust me.”

I think it’s safe to say Trump is supporting the Republican candidate..........he uses the narrative of “we need the Republican vote”.. Not much of an endorsement for Moore the man.

I disagree with GG on this point, but agree with just about everything else he says. So I’ll give him a pass, not gonna hate and call him names. He’s still a great Trump supporter. His opinion on this will not change the outcome.

I stopped watching Fox over a year ago. Greg isn’t funny, but I guess it never occurred to Mr. Gutless that Moore may not have done what he’s accused of.
I no longer go on the Fox News website or watch any news shows on Fox TV. I rely on Free Republic for all my news. Fox is neither fair nor balanced but are another mouthpiece for the Deep State and the swamp dwellers.

IMO he was the only conservative candidate and that is why he won the primary and the presidency.The rest were bought and paid for.
Almost all of the Fox News regulars turned out on Moore within a day of the the allegations, all using the same language and the same hammy outrage.
I suspected at the time that the order came down from the executive suite that Fox News was against Moore, so alter your commentary on. Almost all of them did.

They didn’t need an order on high, they are all Bush Repubs and they all think the same way. They would have been against Moore since he is a Conservative which makes them uncomfortable.
Name one center right Dem who would declare Jerusalem the capital of Israel?

There is bias and slant in most reports. It takes lots of work to find the truth in today’s mixed up world.
It is sad to see him take this position on Roy Moore. It was also sad to see the other Fox lineup turn against Moore when it is so obvious his accusers are just part of a political hack job by the deep state.
I must conclude that the Fox bosses laid down the law and made sure everyone in front of a camera (except Lou Dobbs) threw Roy under the bus.
I cannot imagine a time when I will respect the Fox lineup ever again, except Lou of course.
I agree...I disagree on this but over all he’s pretty good. People on this site need to ease up on Fox....they never claimed to be conservative...Fair and balanced. For the most part I think they are!!!
