Did Alabama have strict voter ID in 2008? I think it dates from 2011.

Don’t ask me how they will play the “race card”, as both candidates are white, but they will.
At least now we know the playbook for the next conservative rightwing candidate and how to deal with it.

Sometimes, I really wonder about Fox News, except for “Fox and Friends” in the morning.
If Moore wins this race, and especially if he wins in a landslide, the dems and their media lapdogs are going to ratchet up their attacks on Trump and Moore. The media will feel that they have been defeated again, and instead of taking some quiet introspection, they will just dip further down into their bottomless well of hatred and resentment.
Praying that the campaign against Judge Moore does not impede the chances of our distant relative — Parker Duncan Moore — who is running for the 4th District Assembly position in AL in the same election. Parker is no relation to Judge Moore; the last name is just a coincidence. Parker is a young conservative running for his first public office and would be a credit to any State legislature!
That right there would be enough to get me vote for Moore.
The MSNBC ‘talent’ are starting to look sad - AND - US markets are UP...
I’m guessing that means Moore won.
(networks have exit poll results and if the race is NOT close - they would know the outcome)

So I guess the next talking point will be about how Moore didn’t win the election with the typical 64% the GOP candidate usually gets, indicating Alabama is trending blue. Or some such nonsense.
My precinct in Decatur is fairly large, the last two elections in the primary and runoff for Judge Moore, the turn out was very low. Both times when I showed up there were just two or three other voters. This morning at 8:30 AM it was a full house probably 30-40 folks waiting to vote, very similar to a national election and Decatur is a very conservative area.
At some point this afternoon, if things are going badly for Jones in the exit polling, CNN, Fox, and the others might just make up some contrary numbers and lie through their teeth.
I could easily see that happen. There’s no real journalism any more, just a relentless effort to destroy the president and conservatives.
