If Moore wins this race, and especially if he wins in a landslide, the dems and their media lapdogs are going to ratchet up their attacks on Trump and Moore. The media will feel that they have been defeated again, and instead of taking some quiet introspection, they will just dip further down into their bottomless well of hatred and resentment.

It would be a lot worse if he lost. Victories encourage people, while defeats discourage them.
