...To Damon Young, a columnist for GQ.com, Wadnans kind deed was a glaring symbol of white American racism.
Youngs article, The Video of the Man Saving the Rabbit from the Fire Captures Everything Wrong with Whiteness in 30 Seconds
... contends that Wadnans act of bravery proves that whites care more for animals than for black people.

Take a quick look at what this piece of $hit looks like. A member of America’s most highly privileged government-certified victim group. A hater.
gq is a f*g mag. This guy is right at home.
Now listen to me, ugly-a$$ f*gface! The action of ONE man in ONE situation proves NOTHING about ALL Whites. It does not prove that this one man cares more for animals than for blacks. It proves nothing. But in your mentally-deranged angry hate-filled cesspool of a “mind” it fits right into your preconceived notion that all Whites do not care for blacks.
You are a useless piece of $hit who is getting paid big bucks to write White hate. You need to do something useful with your miserable life.
White cotton tails is racis’!
The writer is a moron. And like many crazy blacks, thinks whites think about them 24/7. We don’t.
Bunnies are less dangerous to whites than are blacks.
Yes, his letting the bunny burn would have truly shown his love and support for the negroid race.
I assume this writer gets paid for this. It says a lot about GQ that they are willing to give mental defectives a break in life.
That writer is certifiably:
RACIST
BIGOTED
PREJUDICED
IGNORANT
STUPID
DUMBASS
INSANE
ALL OF THE ABOVE.......................
Yeah but, no rabbit has ever called me racist
Without regard to the GQ article, there’s something suspicious about the rabbit-saving video.
The camera is steady and moves smoothly. It must be on a tripod. How candid is that?
Also, the fire in the background is all yellow and orange. I’d expect some gray smoke and additional colors. The guy looks like he was yellowishly illuminated. Is there fire in back of him?
Maybe it’s just postproduction, except for the steady camera.
If the bunny was in a jungle and a black man saw it, it might become his dinner.
I live in the Ozarks, that’s true of most white people I know.
So a good liberal would have let the rabbit burn to prove his dedication to racial equality? Does the fact that I have a problem with that ‘logic’ make me a Thought Criminal? Is that where we’re going?
Even by breathing whites show bigotry. The only way to please the hyper-racists of the Left is for us to commit mass suicide. Even then, they may find something to whine about!

By destroying ourselves we are denying the downtrodden the fruits of our labors...
We've reached a stage in society where reality is more warped than any satire or parody could be. But OK, I'll play along with GQ's "reasoning": if a black man has a dog or cat, does that prove that he hates all white people?
The only thing it proves is that Damon Young is a racist jackass.
Was it a bunny of color or was it a white bunny? Would the guy have rescued a black Playboy bunny?
Random aside: “jungle bunny” is actually a racial slur.
I have had enough of this insanity.
To use the same logic as the author, a black man saving the bunny would expose "everything problematic about black people".
But why am I wasting my time on GQ, the headquarters of Keith "Your Career's Over" Man?
If the choice was between rescuing a bunny or Damon Young, that would be a tough choice for me. I would say that the bunny has a slight edge.
If black people cared more about black people they’d immediately stop voting Democrat.
Yep.
Bunnys is good eats.
They do, however, straddle the cute and cuddly demarcation point between good eats and great pets. So bunnies are complicated issues.
Makes you wonder what his take was when the black teens filmed a disabled man drowning and just laughed their asses off.
