“1692 to May 1693 in Massachusetts”

I was thinking the same thing.

What?

Seriously, you’re blaming women for this jackass killing himself and leaving behind his family to deal w/ this incredibly selfish act.

Dude.

Suicide is not a logical act. It could’ve been the exact opposite; innocent and aggrieved that he was being punished for an act he didn’t commit. The fakebook post indicated PTSD.

He was never charged with an offense, so he wasn’t facing criminal repercussions. No indication that charges were being considered or that the police/prosecutors considered the 17 yo a credible witness.

We’ll never know what happened because he’s dead at his own hand. And in the end his children and grandchildren will pay the price.

Exactly right. It’s a selfish act. Most often committed by people who are not thinking straight.

I understand people become depressed and see this as a solution. But lord have mercy, what a horrible thing to do to your family and friends.

God bless his family.

You said file charges. The polices are not going to file charges with no evidence..just he said/she said.

Is that too hard to grasp?

It’s why these kind of allegations are insidious. It’s like someone accusing you of calling them the “N word” years ago and there are no other witnesses.

At FR it seems to be for some posters. Morality, compassion, fair play.... either embraced or tossed out the window based on political affiliation.

Satan at work. But there are those who insist that politics is force for good for Christians. I’m sure not seeing it.

Thank you. He was accused, no evidence, and both sides of the aisle were calling for his resignation already. Truly sad and evidence that false accusations destroy lives. The accuser should be charged with negligent homicide.

For those of you old enough to remember, Buddy Dwyer shot himself on TV because he couldn’t cope with charges of embezzlement leveled at him by Democrat operatives. It turned out that he was INNOCENT all along.

Not yet there are a lot of Bastards still out there. Not saying this man was one of them. His statement is true” (1)blame no person,Satan is the accuser, so blame the Devil himself.”He saw the darkness and just let go.My prayers for His Soul and for his Family and Friends.

He says he has pstd. Suicide in no way means he is guilty. He was accused because it’s pop political attack with the bonus of him being a Christian pastor. Perhaps the thought of being found guilty without a trial and losing everything because someone falsely accuses you was just too much.

I stopped reading after the first page. Too many comments on this thread are frivolous, disgusting and hateful.

This man has several children, and a bevy of grandchildren, and a wife who loved him. These accusations are just that ...accusations until proven.

He was in despair especially after watching the Roy Moore witchhunt. He and his family needs our prayers.

I also saw those who were compassionate. You are truly wonderful human beings.

Exactly. The man had PTSD and the stress of the accusations was too much. The allegations were investigated by the police and no action was being taken.

The commenters that just besmirched the reputation of the dead man without compassion, empathy or without bothering to read the story take heed.

When you consider that the #1 accuser was the local NPR, everyone KNEW he was a Republican. The referenced article did NOT, oddly, mention his political affiliation.

When it comes to office/work and sex, it is an indisputable rule: Look, but don't Touch, and keep your comments to yourself. It worked for me, for 50 years, surrounded by women just itching to sue, either me or the company.

This is NOT rocket science. A politician has chosen to be out in public, 24/7. He'd better be bright enough to understand that he has no privacy, for the rest of his life. He gave it up for the exercise of power. Just because the Leftist media may provide cover, nothing is forever.
