How about accepting the fact a seriously mentally ill man killed their loved ones. Then move on.

Are you assuming this or did the autopsy/medical history confirm it?

And even if he were mentally ill, the suspect would still have a motive, even if it was falsely perceived.

The feds took over the case. Therefore: no one will ever know anything beyond the fact that all those people were shot, at least some from the hotel. Any other information divulged will be by high federal principle, untrue or misleading. No criminal investigation of any crime with political implications may every be plainly explicated by any federal agency that investigates it.

Agreed. Like ‘healing’ from grief. One can become accustomed to it, reconciled to it, and bear it, but it can only ‘go away’ for the shallowest of souls.

A one “l” lama is a priest.

A two “l” llama is a beast.

A three “l” lllama is a really big fire.

I tend to agree. You can’t believe a word they say. Based on what we know now, the FBI has zero credibility.

Dr. Jekyll / Mr. Hyde. Rich guy presents a laudable front, dabbles in secret evil, gets bored, decides to end all in spectacular fashion. The banality of evil is not satisfying to victims.

This is likely the case.

However.

Let the victims see every detail on the perpetrator's last days. Why hide?

Let the victims see every detail on the Mandalay Bay's operation. Why hide?

Let the victims understand the measures that will be taken by the hotel and security in the future to prevent similar massacres.

Every outdoor gathering is a potential killing field.

We need to understand that this event is being used to the benefit of future events. Much like lighted exit signs became part of building codes around the country.

I’m still looking for closure on the Lincoln assassination. I mean really, aren’t there still lingering questions about the “true” motive of John Wilkes Booth? (Do I need a sarcasm tag?)

Of course you are right bert. If anyone had bothered to read the article, a lot of it has to do with survivors and the murdered people’s family looking to learn more about per evil perps finances. Follow the money.

"If anyone had bothered to read the article"

You do realize the article was written by an associate writer employed by CNN, don't you?

An associate writer - she hasn't even worked her way up to being a fully credentialed liar yet.

Alas, publicizing that which need not be publicized rarely ends well. Innocents involved will be harassed. Businesses will be sued, if only for doing normal business.

The only group here that need be scrutinized is the police: the long response time means every responsible agent should be fired for incompetence, setting an example for the next group to deal with scenarios decisively, removing every barrier thereto.

“Measures taken by hotel & security”, beyond actually putting video cameras in every hallway, will do little short of extreme intrusion. I’m not going to a hotel if I have to go thru metal detectors to enter. For similar reasons I rarely fly, preferring to drive 1500 miles than submit to 4th-Amendment-violating “security theater”.

Yes, every outdoor gathering is a potential killing field. That’s exceedingly rare.
Yes, sometimes the dragon wins - that’s no reason to hide in caves and disarm the knights.

Police justifiably withhold evidence from the public while an investigation is underway. Release would be interesting, but if it’s not actually helpful (instead hurting innocent survivors/bystanders) then I question publication.

If there is no evidence of any other explanation, that’s pretty much what you’re left with.

Not really. The shooter was a muzzie convert as his Saudi trips indicate and he had accomplices as the now dead survivor noted.

I’ve got some lingering questions about her fashion choices.

That being said, I suspect there is more to this tragic event; what with the crazy things that happened in SA recently.

Dunno - I know that doesn’t help the victims nor their families.

The FBI didn't give a damn about this story EXCEPT TO ASSURE FOLKS IN FLYOVER THAT THE KILLER WASN'T TARGETING TRUMP SUPPORTERS. (which was a lie)

The above juicy piece of information (that Trump supporters were NOT being targeted) was ‘discovered’ within 24 hours - - based on a Chicago Hotel the killer NEVER made a reservation at - - and NEVER stayed in. (yes, Trump supporters who were murdered.)

I suspect the effers in the FBI wanted to make sure the killings didn't accidentally help Trump. Once they knew that, they didn't care about solving the case. Really. And the press? How about Oklahoma and the yearly reminders and memorials? That was because ‘white liberal elites’ died. In Vegas it's the people with ‘the smell of Walmart’. The liberal elite doesn't give a damn either.

Anyone charmed? Eff our corrupt ‘intelligence services’... See tagline.
