Just couldn't recall the name, but he did make some conservative sounds for a year or so and then mostly was out of the news in recent years.

According to Wiki, he voted against Obamacare. Served in the US House from 2003-2011 and actually spoke at the RNC in support of Mitt Romney in 2012. Ran for governor of Alabama as a Dim in 2010 and lost, later changed party affiliation to Republican and moved to Virginia.
