Sounds like the Wall needs to extend north along the CA eastern border.
Anyone with a lick of sense that would live under that kind of mandate is gonna pack up and leave. Unfortunately, they bring their failed political beliefs with them wherever they land...kinda sucks.

boy! it sure didn’t take long for the Californication Communist dictators to come up with THAT, did it?!

no wonder all the old time Californians are trying to get the hell out of that political cesspool now

(the population grows there as more and more people move in from Communist China and other countries, but many many native Californians are leaving as fast as they can, indeed Uhaul reportedly has had to impose a surcharge on its one-way rental vehicles and trailers leaving California...the surcharge being to move the equipment back to CA since almost no other Americans are moving to Californcation ..... Uhaul needs to reposition the equipment and can’t rely on the consumer demand to do it anymore since the demand is so strongly One Way )

The California libturds who control that state are doing all they can to rid themselves of their working class tax paying heroes by running them out of the state via financial force.

Good plan, California. Attract all people with expensive medical needs and chase away healthy people.

projected to result in 1.7 million fewer Californians having health insurance

$1000 Plus per month and a $7000 Deductible, with a 40% copay is NOT Insurance, it is EXTORTION and THEFT!!!

I am one of those that pays the fine instead of volunteering to be Raped. My Insurance was Great until Obama and the COmmunist party screwed it up for everyone.

By the way $ 10,000 will get you an Amazing Amount of healthcare when you pay in CASH!!!

Abscess in my leg last month

Insurance: Billed $1000, they pay $200, it costs the Doctor
$100 to pay the girl to handle all the insurance paperwork, Doctor makes $100.

NO Insurance: $100 Office Visit, out in 15 minutes, NO PAPERWORK, Doctor gets paid immediately, still makes $100

"The State of California is expected to lose nearly $1.3 billion a year in Obamacare penalties"

and there it is... that's all they care about is the cash, not health care

They really do want to be their own country, don’t they? Now if they would only take NY, NJ, CT, DC and few others with them I think we could make a deal.

Covered California executive director Peter Lee suggested at a Dec. 7 board meeting that the Democrat-controlled California legislature should pass its own state-level individual mandate. He stated that there is a precedent for a state mandate from former Republican Massachusetts governor Mitt Romney’s 2007 health care reform deal.

How a bout we start a grassroots recall of you position, elected or appointed, and whoever else thinks that whatever may have worked in Massachusetts in 2007 set a precedent for California.

The Constitutionality of the Federal Mandate was never resolved as to Constitutionality.
Calling it a tax may not work at the State level.

I propose starting a petition for a State Constitutional Amendment prohibiting any legislature from mandating California citizens from buying a service they don't want or need subject to a State monetary penalty for failure to do so.You want to continue that stupid game?

We the people of California can, and we will "Prop 13" any illegal law you attempt, as well as starting recall petitions against every legislator who thinks that we the actual working net taxpayers are the servants, and not the masters of the State of California.

Man, these mob-elected criminals really do want a permanent state of antifa-mob-rule armed civil unrest for California, don't they.

Let me see if I understand the DEMOCRAT MIND correctly:

THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT is in charge of everything ONLY when the president is a DEMOCRAT.

THE STATES are in charge of their own destiny ONLY when the president is a REPUBLICAN.

??????

Just another tax increase.

Which will help to accelerate population outflow from CA.

I hope they adopt it.

So the fed’s say no more having to pay for insurance whether or not you want it but CA will impose the same fee so they can say their citizens are insured. Got it.

California suffered a mighty blow today as they lost their big mortgage deduction and their 13% income tax deduction over $10,000. This is so wonderful as this wealth confiscation for illegal aliens and parasites was being subsidized federally by us and we did not want to subsidize their communist transfer of wealth. Now they get to suck it up Buttercup and we could care less.
