Donald Trump doesn't know the difference between climate and weather

Nor do those warmists or changeists or whatever they are this week. Predicting storms, sea level changes etc. based on observable weather patterns based on flawed data from a fraction of a tick of the cosmic clock.

“There’s a reason the Climate Change zealots changed the name of their religion from Global Warming to Climate Change.”

They can try and change it all they want but they are stuck with global warming. Call the bastards on it every time they try.

“Always be cynical of a theory which considers all counterfactuals as proof of its veracity.”

And the proponents want to take your money just to hedge their theory.

Here’s the difference: When it is hot out, it’s climate; when it is cold out, it’s weather. If the weather were warm, the libs would be calling it proof of global warming. But since it’s freezing cold, it’s just weather.

Haha....so they are saying that President Trump uses the same anecdotal evidence to explain away GlobalManBearPig that they use as “proof”?

The problem is that ,based on the “climate change or globalization bal warming or...scientist” understanding of how climate effects weather various predictions were made. NONE involved record cold or record snowfalls. Neil deGrassie (or what ever ) fell into the same trap. We believe science of eclipses because there is a rational explanation that allows predictions of planetary movement etc to be made. Predictions of weather based on “climate change” theory, not so much.

We really should pity the Main Stream Midiots rather than laugh at them. They’re so out of it that they don’t even realize that they’re being played by the Maestro.

But now that I think about it...

Nice catch:

The atmosphere is always twisting and turning around, chaotically, with a mind of its own. Any truly extreme event results in large part from that effectively random behavior. For that reason, the specifics of individual extreme events are not predictable far ahead of time -- weather forecasting, which is the science of predicting this chaotic component, generally doesn't work for periods beyond a couple of weeks.

But the climate sets the stage, pushing things in one direction or another and influencing the odds that an extreme event of a given type will occur. By making the whole planet warmer, human emissions of greenhouse gases increase the odds of a warm event like this one -- or its more dangerous hypothetical summer counterpart. If we define the event by specifying a fixed threshold -- some number of degrees above average for some number of days, say -- the global warming that we've already had makes that threshold more likely to be crossed.

Besides human influence, the climate also fluctuates naturally. The most important natural fluctuation this winter is El Niño, a change in the state of both the ocean and the atmosphere in the tropical Pacific that comes every few years or so. The coming and going of El Nino events happens on a pace much faster than that of human-induced climate change, but still much slower and steadier than the day-to-day weather, so it makes sense to think of it as another factor gently nudging the weather in one direction.

The cultists use any hot day or hurricane etc... to “prove” global warming.

Hot days and hurricanes constitute proof to them whike record breaking cold, record breaking snow and sleet are just meaningless anomalies.
