The video is difficult to watch, even for the hardest heart. A dash-cam video published in The Intercept shows a young mother weeping and pleading with a Texas state trooper who has just called the Border Patrol on the father of her 5-month-old daughter.
“No, they are going to take him, sir,” she begs the trooper who pulled her over for a broken taillight, but to no avail. “They are taking everybody.”

CA economy doesn’t require illegals. That is BS propaganda. Illegals are a net drain on the economy. Some make money but the taxpayer and the US born wage earner pays the price for “cheap” labor.

I wonder why the author didn’t address the costs of these stellar individuals to the school system, the welfare system, the healthcare system, the justice & prison systems? Could it be that the money contributed to the economy is dwarfed by those costs? Could it be that the utilization of public assistance services by illegals is making it difficult for Americans to get aid & medical care?

The government economy of teachers, police, jails, medical services grows though. And they vote Democrat. That's what this is really about. Without that growth the Democrat employment and retirement systems collapse.
Imagine a failing business with the power to re-write a nation's laws not only to insure their survival but their growth in size, power, and wealth. That is big, bad government. Once a runaway train of government reaches sufficient speed it can't be stopped until the big crash.

Wonderful! I’m sure I can get rich quickly by growing lettuce in my backyard!
It requires illegals for cheap labor and votes. It also requires a welfare state to keep the voters happy. Since states can’t print money, CA is going broke. If that’s their definition of success, I’d hate to see how they define failure.
