On a normal day, there aren’t many people heading to Google to figure out how to survive a nuclear strike. But Saturday was not a normal day.
Shortly after 2:30 p.m. Eastern, searches for “how to survive nuclear” peaked in the U.S., from being almost nonexistent to being almost twice as common as “how to make pasta.” The increase was centered in Hawaii, where about 90 minutes earlier, a warning had gone out over the state’s emergency alert system: “BALLISTIC MISSILE THREAT INBOUND TO HAWAII. SEEK IMMEDIATE SHELTER. THIS IS NOT A DRILL”.
You can see when that alert went out on this graph.
[SNIP] Tulsi Gabbard's tweet went out within about 15 minutes of the false alarm to her 174,000 followers. She was probably the first well-known authority figure to inform the public that there was no need to panic. News outlets picked up that clarification and spread it widely.
This, by contrast, was President Trump’s first tweet after incorrect alert went out.
So much Fake News is being reported. They don’t even try to get it right, or correct it when they are wrong. They promote the Fake Book of a mentally deranged author, who knowingly writes false information. The Mainstream Media is crazed that WE won the election!

It was sent more than three hours after the alert went out. As you can see, it has nothing to do with the alert. Those who follow Trump on Twitter — 46.6 million of them — haven’t been given any information

Alerts like this usually result from a message down the chain. Some moron triggering the announcement at the end of the chain does not move UP the chain.
It only takes a minute or two to understand this. It’s not like it hard Ike a word problem or anything like that.
It was a state and local issue. Civil defense in Hawaii is under County government. It was a warning sent out in error by their local defense agency. It had nothing to do with President Trump; before, during, or after.
This article is just proof that there is no attempt to actually inform people by the media and it is agenda driven. Otherwise this would have been an article about what part of the Civil Defense process in Hawaii failed and how to keep it from happening again. Instead this article is just a cheap shot at the President and nothing more.

You guys. Have you ever noticed how close Trump Tower is to the WTC? Same city. That is NOT a coincidence, people. Think of all the things that happened leading to Trump’s presidency, stemming from that suspicious attack. And see how he has profited. Ok. Well, he’s lost a ton of money and all his popularity and he is hated by the mainstream media and has threats against his entire family.... he is called a racist and they won’t even let him in londanistan... maybe that is a bad argument... never mind....
I operate a similar system. They are made up of a group of “events.” Each event has a target message and a distribution list (cel phone, landline, pagers, secure text, etc.). Each event requires: 1. Access to the system. 2. Access to the event granted by an administrator. 3. Authorization to trigger using password and event code. 4. At least two prompts that say, “Are you sure you want to trigger this event.”
There is no “red button” under a “break the glass to alert the masses.” In my organization there are some events that only my boss, the head of security and myself are authorized to trigger.
The list of people who could physically activate this is probably barely into double digits.
That darn Trump!
Everything is his fault except the economy going up, more money in our pockets etc.
