You’re correct - I’ve been wondering that for a year. Trump could de-classify the (faked) FISA warrant and post it on Twitter in 5 minutes. Why didn’t he?
(a) The Steele dossier has truth to it; that is, the warrant is legit, and Trump had meaningful Russian contacts
(b) Trump is taking down as much swamp as possible - to get to Clinton, Obama, and Mueller, he had to wait
Occam’s Razor says (b). The biggest “tells” we’re the initial, very different reactions of Nunes and Schiff, about a year ago. These were confirmed today.
