California Dems propose surcharge on businesses to fund social programs

Lawmakers from California have proposed a bill that would compel companies making more than $1 million to turn over half their tax-cut savings to the state in order to fund programs that support low-income and middle-class families.

Assembly members Kevin McCarthy, D-Sacramento, and Phil Ting, D-San Francisco, have proposed an Assembly Constitutional Amendment that would enact a tax surcharge on California companies, in order to help people who have been negatively affected by the GOP’s tax overhaul, the San Francisco Chronicle reported.

“Trump’s tax reform plan was nothing more than a middle-class tax increase,” Ting said in a statement. “It is unconscionable to force working families to pay the price for tax breaks and loopholes benefiting corporations and wealthy individuals. This bill will help blunt the impact of the federal tax plan on everyday Californians by protecting funding for education, affordable health care, and other core priorities.”

Moonbeam Kalifoornia Czar Komrade Jerry Brown wants you to willingly remit your federal tax refund, as a good citizen, to the State.

Democrats are starting to remind me of a move I saw about vampires with Ethan Hawke. As everyone became vampires, and there were almost no living souls left, the supply of blood became disastrously low. They were willing to do anything to keep from having to face up to the fact that their very existence was untenable. The economic model sure is similar, if nothing else.

This surcharge on businesses is to fund the welfare programs for illegal aliens. California is allowing a flood of illegals to come over the border. California’s bloodsucking DemonRATs need tax money to buy the Hispanic vote.

Several years ago an artsy woman with hand made art earnings and custom decorated clothes joined our Tea Party meeting. She owned a local Vegan restaurant. She was spitting mad. The Democratically run city had decided to fund their latest save the homeless scheme by charging a surcharge on the taxes of every business in the city. Her “fair share” amounted, she said, to three years profits. They had lost her as a voter. But, since business owners are outnumbered about ten to one by government employees and university types in Tallahassee, the Democrats have remained firmly in power.

I read this draft law idea early this morning, and just start laughing. Then I went and wrote out a letter to a particular southern city’s mayor who has been aggressive on getting companies to pack up and move to his city. I suggested to him to pack up his team and head to California and recruit California companies to move.

I would suggest, if the draft does pass, at least 10,000 to 20,000 jobs will move from California to some other state.

Kalifornia should get what it deserves. Businesses should leave the state and taxpayers should also. The loons running the state should enjoy New Venezuela.

If you go get a job with them and work, they will. But then the welfare state employees will have to go get a real job too. Regulating the poor is big government business. You eliminate the poor and then what will the beasts feed off of?

California serves as an example of what happens to a nation that allows “open borders” and a swollen population of non producing citizens that are easily manipulated by politicians. Left to itself, I believe the state would self destruct in another ten years. With the new tax laws I expect them to enact an “exit tax” on those fleeing the state. After all, you didn’t build your wealth, the state did.
